Just wondering how we fare historically in the alternates, yellow numbers and the prison gear. Someone on here knows I am sure.
Now that I thought of the yellow number jerseys and domes, Im gonna go look on youtube to watch Hines Ward decleat Ed Reed. Gotta be Hines memory #1
 
God I love that prison gear. **** everyone else. It's awesome.
 
Its better than 1 and 1 but I could be wrong. I remember we beat the Lions last year, lost to the Ravens one year with Leftwich starting. I think we have worn it a couple times per year for the last 2 years.
 
I left something in the toilet this morning that is more pleasant to look at than those uniforms.

I swear that the Rooney's are always drunk when signing off on their team wearing those eye sores every year.

I love them also...I really liked the prior throwbacks, yellow helmets, big decal, black jerseys with gold numbers.
 
They are 2-1. They've won against Det, & Was. Lost to Bal.

Nah I dont think electricity was harnessed until sometime in the 1970's, if I've got my history right:p

I think POWER came to Pittsburgh in 1969. Local folks went by the name "Mean Joe" for Joe Greene. He brought the POWER, for many years!!!!

Best uniforms in the league and they continue to wear throwbacks. Wear a throwback to the block numbers if you want to sell jerseys, because more people would buy those than the throwbacks they do wear.

agreed. IMO, we need to go back to the block #'s and leave our current font to the rightful owners of it, the Chicago bears (I honestly don't know if it's the exact same font)

bring back the 1960 ones we wore from 2007- till 2011, then next year wear 1 game the 1960's and 1 game introduce the 1967 jerseys that were reffered as the batman ones.
those jerseyes will generate lots of extra rev.
 
Pretty much every throwback for any team is awesome, especially ours.
