What if we are looking at 1-4 next 5 games?

Wow, you're really talented and creative; you should enter in your daughter's 3rd-grade poetry contest. You might even place 3rd.

And you would place first for being the boards biggest transforming twatwaffle.

It is a shame you aren't as smart as you think you are dipshit.

hi

Didn't you post something like this last year?

It took a miracle to beat the lowly Jags. I don't feel secure on any of these games, even the Raiders. And we will be lucky to stay within 21 points vs. NO.

When will people learn the transitive property doesn’t apply to football? This game is about talent but also about matchups. We don’t match up well vs Jacksonville. We also dropped 50+ on a winning team. There’s also usually a thin line between a winning record and a losing record in the NFL. Jacksonville is a QB away from elite status. If you try to say “well we struggled with a team with a bad record, we will definitely get blown out by New Orleans” you haven’t been paying attention to the Steelers (or the entire NFL, for that matter) for the past several years. That’s just not how any of this works

San Diego isn't as good as their record.

They lost to the two teams they played that had a winning record, KC and the Rams. They just lost at home to a Denver team that had lost 6 of 7 coming into their game last week.

Their best win has been Tennessee or Maybe Seattle. Other than that, they beat Oakland twice, San Fran, Cleveland and Buffalo. Sand Diego might be the 4th toughest team the Steelers play out of the 5 in that stretch.

i don't see us winning the saints game. The Saints run D was #1 and if they run screens or swing passes with Kamara i don't think we can keep up. Only way we can win is a shootout. Den and Oak are scary games even though the teams are not good. Just beating Denver, oak, and cinci will get us 10 wins and should be enough regardless of the other games

It could easily happen.

1.) Denver is not that bad and beat a good Chargers' team. Their losses included KC twice, Houston and the LA Rams., plus a Ravens team who did curb stomp us back in that span. We could easily lose this one.

2.) Chargers are strong and they get Bosa back. A loss here would not be a surprise.

3.) Pats. No comments needed.

4.) Raiders. Foolishly I will give us this win. (Very stupid thing to do considering Tomlin's record vs. bad teams).

5. Saints. Not only do we get diced like a fish on Good Friday, we could easily lose by 30.

I sure hope and pray we do better than 1-4 out of these 5, but would it be totally a shock if we dropped four of these? Even if we go 2-3 it would be much better. 3-2 and we should count our lucky stars.

Our pass defense will be tested. While the pass rush is very good, the coverage and playmaking ability in the secondary is not. We'll see. They key is beating the bad teams like Denver and the Raiders, this way if you go 1-2 vs the Chargers, Pats, and Saints you finish out 3-2

None of these games matter. Playoff games matter for this coach/team right now.

I'm tired of the good regular seasons and then laying eggs in the playoffs. Otherwise it's just the same old ****.

Well, individually, they might not matter, but, collectively, they matter a hell of a lot. We don't win some of them, we don't have a playoff game in which to lay an egg.

I prefer good regular seasons with a playoff game (or more) over mediocre seasons with no playoff game at all.

I think what Deljzc is saying is he tired of these seasons where the STEELERS are one and done in the playoffs. Myself, I want 4 or 3, with championship and done. To hell with the one and done season / playoffs.

They are going to right the ship this year.

There is only one team out there that actually makes me nervous, and they don't even play in the AFC. ******* LA Rams. Donald and Ebukam are ******* frightening, and A.V. could possibly be in for the *** kicking of a life time if we were to see them in late feb. The pats are like Ivan Drako they have been cut and are now looked at as human, Chargers nothing really to see here so lets move on. NO. This will be a shootout, I think our offense matches up well with their defense, Ben could have another career game here.

Is it just me or did Mike Tomlin turn some kind of corner this year? more engaged better game plans and some fire. I like it, I like it a lot. Still, we will have our annual ****** team meltdown against the Broncos or raiders. I see us at 11-4-1 going into the playoffs, we will lose to the damn Bengals when that win would have gave us the number one seed. 11-4-1 #2 seed and on to Hotlanta.

The rams allowed the KC team to score more points than the Steelers allowed. I didn't look to see if KC had any defensive scores. I don't know if that means anything, just that, while their D looks great, our D held up against KC about the same.

To be completely fair, how many teams have we played that, now, have a winning record? Some are at .500, but I'm pretty sure we are at 2 teams that currently have a winning record and we are 1-1.

Denver W
LA W
PAts toss up
Raiders easy W
Saints loss

I also don't like that we show all our cards during the regular season games with these folks and then come playoff time our coaching staff gets completely out-coached trying to do the exact same things. If you are truly a great team, you play PLANNING on the playoff and you set up your playbook week-to-week to PEAK when playoff come. That should be when you are most lethal, both in play options, alignments and personnel groupings.

I have no doubt during this tough stretch Tomlin and staff will throw out everything they can to win and reveal every card known to man. Then we'll re-see Belichick again in the playoff and he will coach our team's *** off. Thats how this goes.

This relugar season matchup with Belichick means nothing to them and everything to us. Until that changes, we are always going to be made the fool come January.
