Nearly everything that can be dreamed of, has been said.

Many here definitely have put in the work to make VERY informed statements of what they think will happen.

Some have just winged and a prayer while others copy and repeat.

Myself, I use the information put forth, investigate a said favorite player (how extensive varies), watch a very little of the talking heads or articles, the usual for a mid-invested fan who has very little to do with actual outcome.

Some it’s a passion / hobby / support of their team, all very admirable in my eyes. Also a very good source of information which I appreciate along the way.

Some unsaid things of the Steelers.

1) No certain-tee of a 1st round QB pick, coming from the Steelers themselves.

2) No certain talk of a George Pickens trade.

3) No certain talk of a TJ Watt trade

4) there are some more……………………………..

Anyone else have what they think has been Bull-**** stuff hitting the fandom of the Steelers ?

Also, how do you spend the draft / party / home alone watching in the dark / back-ground noise / only pay attention to the Steelers pick / anything different ?

About 12 hours and counting down.

I watch every minute of draft. And then tell myself to never do it again. And then I do it again.

I am not as excited about this year for some reason.
That being said. Deep frying a prime rib loin tonight. No one coming over just the blitz fam. Willbe eating off the prime rib for a few days

I have a feeling a bad feeling that they will draft Sanders if he falls to 21. I hope not but it is said Tomlin really likes him so may depend on Art to weigh in here.
Next, just another feeling they are going to trade Pickens. Reading lots of teams seem interested.
They are not going to pay him so may as well explore trade offers. Wouldn’t let him go for less than a two though. He will need replaced.
Have another feeling there will be surprises none of us are imagining in the first round. Players will slide others will elevate.
Let the fun begin!

The season starts TODAY.

I'll be at home with my son watching the entire first round.

I hope that the doesn't trade away anyone. Not George and not TJ.

The only thing that will upset my night will be seeing the team draft a RB at 1.21.

We're going to eat street pasta tonight...

I may not watch it all, but I will wake up and check the status on days 1 and 2. It's a sickness, I guess.

I be at home, drinking in the dark and asking my right hand if it is horny tonight.

You need to look into “Trailer Park Girls” and skip the Trailer Park Boys……………………

You sick bast*** j/k

Because I have extremely down sized on paying for TV, I’m not sure I even get the draft.

Steelmann inspired me to get an analog antenna, so I did. I think I’ll get the draft on one of those FREE channels.

I don’t watch it specifically, more of a back ground sort of thing.

I’m going out to supper tonight so I’ll catch is afterwards.

I will check the ESPN app throughout the entire draft for the picks and analysis.

I found an IPTV service almost a year ago that has been good for me to watch just about anything. I just renewed it for another year. If you or anyone is interested, send me a DM.

My interest in this years draft is at an all time low for me.

But I still couldn’t help myself and did a mock lol..
Very similar feeling this year for me as well............. I think I did one mock this year .............. and tonight I will tune in but I will be flipping channels all night between Hockey and Basketball playoff games

Not alot of suspense over who they are drafting..... this draft just doesn't seem to have the hype of previous years

I love Thursday and Friday draft days, as others have mentioned, this year lacks the usual excitement. Partially because the lack of a second round pick though I don’t bemoan picking up Metcalf. I’ll be “sipping” some type of alcohol and my wife has corned beef in the steeler crockpot.

I’m hoping for Nolen, Grant or Harmon. Wouldn’t be upset with one of the top corners/ Johnson or Barron. No on a qb today.
Rumors of a Cousins’ trade is complete bs IMO, unless Atlanta takes a sixth and sucks up allot of his salary. Been hearing rumors on Greenbay and Dallas interested in Pickens. If Dallas passes on McMillan (if available) in round one, maybe there’s some validity to it. Dallas needs allot of help on both sides of the ball and drafting a corner, DL, OL, RB, etc at 12 with the thought of grabbing a proven receiver to pair with Lamb day two does make sense. Maybe Green Bay is looking to swap Alexander. Who knows, swapping Pickens for Alexander puts us in the same place as last year and gives us one disgruntled player for another albeit a good secondary.

I’m afraid of the annual Bengal poach of the DL the Steelers are after.

I have watched every draft since 1982 when the Steelers took Walter Abercrombie in the first round. Only day I was allowed to ditch school. So this is my 43rd straight year watching the NFL draft.

I don’t think the Steelers trade Watt, but not sure that it’s a bad idea.

Yep Paul. Watching the Jets and flipping to the other games. Nothing beats divisional playoff hockey. Hardest trophy to win in all of sports. Will put the draft on the iPad with some app and check in here for the expertise of the Steeler Nation. Put a huge slab of ribs in the slow cooker this morning.
