What a difference a week makes

I knew we were going to blow it just felt it... felt it weeks ago when we were stumbling going down the stretch and juju going off on his own doing his own thing... tomlin has lost the locker room...big difference in your mom telling you to clean your room clean your **** up and your dad telling you lol... tomlin is like a mom to these guys.. guys love him just like you love your mom but you fear your dad... gone is that fear gone is the accountability! I should have bet the rent... tomlin era is over and that is very different than just a rebuild... he’s never shown to have the tools to care out a rebuild and he doesn’t have the coaching staff to do it. We very fukd and are going to be for a good while... buckle up it’s going yo get bumpy

I'm not worried about Ben's nimbleness on turnovers.

I'm worried about his loss of mobility and his inability to make plays downfield while on the move. That was the signature of a young Ben in his prime, and without it, he's a shell of what made him great. Ben actually was able to escape the pocket and pass on the run one time on Sunday -- I thought we were going to get a glimpse of the past -- then his throw landed woefully short by about 6 or 8 yards.

Sad.

He can fix that. It's called Strength &Conditioning. There's absolutely no reason he can't. It's going to require 100% dedication and hard work starting in a few days.

He could absolutely positively transform himself if he really wants it. You can't halfass it. If it really has that much meaning to win a superbowl,he will do it. I know he wants his kids to see him win a championship. That's probably the biggest motivation you can have. He doesn't need the money.

He was in pretty good shaped this season, but I'm sure his elbow restricted him some, but no matter what the Oline needs fixed, if Ben comes back or doesn't. He was getting hit alot if the ball wasn't gone in 2 seconds or less.

No. Strength and conditioning is not going to turn back the hands of time. Ben can't return to what he was 10 or 15 years ago -- it's called the reality of aging. There's a reason why the Army won't accept you if you're past 35. There is no fountain of youth.

I think his restrictions were more his knees. It is my only fear of him coming back. Did his knees limit the amount of plays under center? If so then as much as I hate to do it I have to shift some, not all but some, of the blame for bad play calling to Bens limitations. I screamed all year to get him under center and utilize a system more appropriate to the Strengths of both Conner and Snell and they rarely did it. Maybe Randy is just the ******* dolt I think he is or Bens knees would not allow him to bend like that and then have to drop quickly and plant.

Come on men...

This teams run is over...from Head Coach, to QB to Center and others...

No need to deny it....lets move on and enjoy the torch being forwarded like we've done in the past...

From Noll to Cowher to Tomlin to.....

We'll be back...

Something needs to change we haven't won a Super Bowl since XLIII...its time..

The issue was Cleveland with no practices or in person sessions made adjustments and game planned from what happened week 17.
They ran away from Watt, our dline kept slanting to our left and Cleveland just ran to our right leaving huge running lanes. Then they used to quick passes to get the ball out of Mayfields hands fast because week 17 we were pressuring him without our best pass rushers. So Tomlin calls the defense he runs his Tampa 2 **** leaving the safeties deep, making those quick route easy to complete and he kept having Derek Brooks, I mean Spillane who hadn't played in weeks that wasn't in shape man to man on Landry.
Then when Highsmith got injured instead of ditching the damn 2 DL crap and going with 3 when Clevelandis trying to kill clock, he brings in Marsh who is like our 4th string OLB who has been here 5 mins to get pushed all over the place.
I'm not sure why none of that worked

Actually, Watt only was a factor on two series in the 3rd quarter, playing opposite the guy the Browns signed on Friday afternoon. Sometimes "superstars" have a bad game, and Watt definitely did have a bad game.

Or was it, they knew the Oline sucked and with no threat of a running game, no point going under center? no one asked Tomlin that in the presser, but Rudolph wasn't under center much in week 17, or last season either, we ran a ton of shot gun last year.

No one played well, but they ran to our defenses right side a ton and they adopted our quick pass offense, Mayfield was getting rid of the ball so fast the pressure was never going to get there unless we actually covered someone, but no we left our safeties deep and ILB's covering WR's making it easy for Mayfield.
