If anyone had told me the Steelers would be 3-infinity at the halfway mark of the season and STILL be in 2nd place, just a game or two back from leading the division... I would have said EXTEND TOMLIN!

Just kidding. I doubt I would have said that.

Their wins come from opponents that are a combined 3-20.

Agreed, which makes me think we can't / won't do ****. BUT, their 4 losses come from opponents that are a combined 26-4. BUT, most of these opponents with the 26 wins, played **** teams.

*New England 8-0
San Fran 7-0
Seatle 6-2
Baltimore 5-2

The next few games will tell if the arrow is pointing up.

Yes it will. And I think the arrow is pointing to 7-9.

The Ravens are the only team on that list that I think will end up falling on their face. NE, SF, and Seattle are all solid.

Agreed. The way they're running Lamar Jackson, it's just a matter of time before he gets injured IMO.

I'm still at 10 wins until 10 wins is not possible.

It that literal or theoretical? Though at this point they might be one in the same

Unfortunately they seem to get better as the season goes on under Harbaugh, especially their defense.

Yesterday started a stretch of 4 games in 18 days... this will determine our season... if we win the next 3 too we would likely at worse be tied with the ravens for the division... it won’t be easy... this is the meat of the remaining schedule... two teams that can be really great at times and the desperate Browns on a short week... i was certain last night was going to be the game we overlooked and maybe we did, but we won... we are good enough to beat anyone left on the schedule... but we are also very much capable of losing out too... this is a good team that is light on playmakers on the O... we will see where that takes us

I agree, but if Jackson goes down that really throws a wrench into things for them.
