More information:
the same time that the US allowed Israel to attempt a takeout of a Plestinian delegation in a neutral Arabic country.
Or DJT kept silent about it until it was completed. It's time the Arab world dealt with their treatment of Israel and the PLO, or its latest manifestation - Hamas, Hezbolah, etc.the same time that the US allowed Israel to attempt a takeout of a Plestinian delegation in a neutral Arabic country.
Probably just a weird coincidence.
I agree with you.

The Arab world has steadfastly defended, funded, shielded, hidden, informed for, supplied, etc., the PLO and its children, to hurt the Israeli people and nation. So, the are actually participants. Those people were never allowed real lives in the nations around them, who told them to leave in the first place while they wiped the Jews off the map, and returned the land to them. They failed to win that war, and refused to take the Palestinians in as the brothers in faith, culture, language, etc., that they are. The Arab nations kept them there.
The Israelis have always allowed them in if they renounced their death wish. Many Arab muslims live, prosper, vote, serve in the military, etc., in the Nation of Israel. In Jordan, they are not citizens, have few rights or opportunities, etc., even though they are a majority in that nation. Egypt has build an amazing wall to keep them out of Egypt, Lebanon has little to offer them, Syria, and so many others only use them as pawns against the Israelis.
So, harbor a group of "leaders" who are set on killing the Israelis, and you thereby prove you are behind those efforts. It's time those nations paid a price. In this case they paid a very tiny price.
They were not "harboring" a group of leaders, but were hosting those negotiating the peace between Israel and HAMAS.So, harbor a group of "leaders" who are set on killing the Israelis, and you thereby prove you are behind those efforts. I did miss your point. I see it now.I agree with you.
My point however, was that your article about the Russian drones spilling into neutral Poland was similar to the Israeli action spilling into neutral Qatar.
By neutral I mean not engaged directly in the ongoing fight. The Russians and the Israelis both understand that their war-making was not on the disputed battlefield but on the property of non-combatant neighbors.
This is new, broadening and unsettling because it seems like the opposite direction from peaceful resolution.
My understanding has been that these guys were there for a long time. I will wait for more confirmation about their stay there being just for peace talks before I change that view. Sorry, but Reuters has been hard to believe at times, of late. You may well be correct. They were not "harboring" a group of leaders, but were hosting those negotiating the peace between Israel and HAMAS.
Don't misunderstand, as I am pro-Israel in almost every way, but it's not ok when you attempt to assassinate those you agreed to negotiate peace with, under agreement from the US and the Arab world.
Very medieval:
Your interpretation may be closer to reality. Look what NPR says. The US and Iraelis left over a month ago:My understanding has been that these guys were there for a long time. And, the tactics of the Arab combatants has been anything but honorable over the years. Maybe Israel just decided to be on their level for this. Not sure.
It truly sucks that we can't just hear the news and trust it. I remember the tail end of those days. Now, we have to check 41 sources, counter weigh who said it, and give our best guess.Your interpretation may be closer to reality. Look what NPR says. The US and Iraelis left over a month ago:
Apparently POTUS sent a new peace deal to both sides just before the bombing. So the Israelis knew they would get together to discuss. It truly sucks that we can't just hear the news and trust it. I may still be wrong on them living there. I really don't know.
Great question. I bet we will never know. Either one would not surprise me.Apparently POTUS sent a new peace deal to both sides just before the bombing. So the Israelis knew they would get together to discuss.
The more important question then becomes did Trump setup the Hamas leadership or did the Israelis embarrass the US by acting independently and bomb bad guys in an American client state with a large American base?
We do. I thought America First was actually America First. We got enough problems, without wasting time and money on this stupidity. How long until we are wasting American lives? God, make it stop.We got big problems to clean up in our own neck of the woods..
Not seeing any end game for Gaza or Ukraine ..
Was optimistic for a brief period ..
