WAY Too Early Roster Prediction...

I can see that about the two QBs, but when the owner says "vet" player, something might lean towards Mason's continuance here.

I truly hope MM keeps who he thinks can help this team currently and in the long run, even if just for one season.

They hired McCarthy to find the long term QB. Mason is not the long term QB. IF Howard and Allar show anything they will be the guys kept. McCarthy is working with them directly and letting the OC run the 1st team today. That tells me he is invested in the young guys. Hell they could possibly keep all 4 but I doubt it.

They were one of the worst tackling teams last year and I can't say I watched too many games where the Steelers asserted themselves against the other team. Win the line of scrimmage and dominate the run game is how to be a tough, physical team. I also don't think too many teams tackle in camp, it's just the way things are now.
According to PFF we weren’t the worst we were exactly average at 16 in missed tackles rate. We just judge more harshly based on a proximity bias. We follow them more than other teams and tend to exaggerate the good and the bad more than reality.

Be interesting to see the tackling rate amongst position groups per team

When mccarthy was at green Bay he put both Rodgers and arth through his camp....one became a hofer and one became a coach.....he's gonna put all through it......its great nevertheless but not an indication he is making a astatement about either guy.......but let's hope one becomes a coach and one becomes a hofer

I think part of the failure was scheme and personell.......things like benton at NT and losing gap integrity rushing rhe edge rushers around the corners on run plays and stuff like that. I don't think any of these guys cant tackle well on the line if we put them in a position to succeed

Are you saying today I’m a figment of my imagination………………. Hahahhhhaaaaaa

You are right Lebanon, we fans (especially this site) are so passionate about are Steelers that we magnify everything. The good is overly and the bad is overly stated many fold here.

It’s OK because that is what fans do.

Many of us here do realize our intensity and do look at things more in the real, once we settle down and think about it.

I wear things ragged on my short sleeve, but then do eventually come back to my senses.

Love the camaraderie here.!!!
