Without Shaz our inside linebacker core has been subpar. White is a freak athlete with tons of production. He’s young as he will turn 21 right before the draft.

Heyward isn’t getting any younger and I noticed a decline in play. This gives us a young guy to wait in the wings and be that all important backup for the inevitable injury that will happen.

Byron Murphy Washington
Burns might get another season but I’m not waiting to see if he bounces back. Young kid with wheels and production.

Jachai Polite Florida
Dupree has not developed and it would be nice to have a guy like this across from Watt. Polite might need work in coverage but has a year to learn and ability.

I think White will be gone before our pick. I am definitely interested in the kid. Going to do a lot of tape watching this year.
 
NO DEFENSE IN FIRST 3 ROUNDS!

Steelers have PROVEN that have no clue how to draft secondary, and we've had enough first round bust LBs for awhile

We need established defensive guys that can start, like Joe Haden. FREE AGENCY FOR DEFENSE!

First we need a new #1 RB to replace the one we let walk out the door to ruin our season

Wait, I read on here today Bell was not good at all. Hell, him leaving did nothing to impact our season (sarcastic).
 
Would love the LB from LSU, but he'll be gone before we pick. No matter who we take, we need to try to sign one or two defensive players in Free Agency, a pass rusher to go opposite Watt.

Unless we scout defenders differently I wouldn't take a defender in the first round. Better than a 50 percent chance of being an average player or below.

A ILBer CB and FS would do wonders for that D. But I think the Steelers are too stubborn to replace slow Williams. Or change the scheme up.

You know who I want in round 1? The Friggin Chargers! Then the Chiefs, then the Patriots again, and the Saints! Revenge tour '18. Yeah I know we beat the Pats, but we owe those f'ers a few more beat downs!

If we get a miracle this weekend, no one wants to see us. There are no 5-11 teams in the playoffs.

I'm drafting a starting LG or RT in R1. We draft OL really well. Go sign a DB or LB somewhere. The money will be there.

I wouldn’t be against that move one bit Coach. If he’s such the great coach teams should be clamoring to trade for him and give up a premium pick. Wonder when a team last traded a head coach?

Sure. We need to spend a first round pick on a guard to replace Ramon Foster. Hines57, you’re a moron. We are fine at Right tackle if you watched the games.

Go sign DB and ILB elsewhere? Like Bostic or Burnett? How did that work out?

If you want to sign a star defender in his 20’s for a second contract, that’s a different story.

Usually teams that win do not trade coaches. I recall Gruden was traded years ago.

Some dumb team might trade for Tomlin, but first we need to offer that. If Rooney grows a pair it’s a quiet call he should make before firing Tomlin.

We do draft OL well but still need more playmakers on offense, a true #1 RB will be just what we need.

For defense I'd go after CB Jalen Ramsey, hard, sell the farm, three #1 picks for him is fine with me.

Spike, I'm with you on Ramsey, but why isn't Conner a true #1 running back? He made the pro bowl in his first season starting, and behind him is Samules. If the Steelers spend a 1-3rd round pick on a running back, they are fools.

I think we are all set on OL for a while. Matt Feiler looked more than solid t right tackle over a sting of game vs good pass rushers. Chucks back him up. We trade Gilbert if possible or cut him, and simply give Finney Foster's job if Foster thinks he's worth more elsewhere.

ILB, CB, FS...the main needs IMO. Corner is tough to fill, so I;m with you on Ramsey. An ILB can be found in rounds 1-3. Same for Free Safety.

Yes. Guard in round one for this team your moron for suggesting that. Do you really mean that? If you miss spoke say it now.

I was right about Bell and his 4.0 yards per rush last season. We don’t need him. And we should have tried a sign and trade as I stated prior to the draft.

It’s not my job to know all the free agency rules. But tell me this are we better off letting Bell just walk ( as he surely will ) or do you think we could have traded him for something?

I see us with second and third string backs, Conner was OK but couldn't last the season, who knows if he ever comes back the same, Kendrell Bell's high ankle sprain pretty much ended his career


A SB team needs the best offensive playmakers they can find to get those 30+ points a game you need to win, not practice squad players that everyone elevates to saviors
 
Deshaun Jackson wants released after the season. I would make a run at him, he'd diffidently fill the role to take the top off a defense.could you image, AB,JuJu, Jackson,Washington,McDonald.

Who's the last Super Bowl champion to have a top talent at running back? I'd say Seattle with Lynch in 2014. Who was it before that, Rams with Faulk in 2000?
