Ok...so Aaron Donald finished with 1 tackle, no sacks, 0 pressures in LAR playoff loss.

Sure, Watt didn’t do much in his last game either, but he had a PS guy on the other side of him after Highsmith got injured.

Based on statistical criterial, it should be a no brainer. But besides Donald, who else is even close. If anyone mentions Bosa, I will get Coolie to curse your behind for saying it.

to be fair to Donald, he got himself injured last week vs Seattle, and it's pretty clear that whatever injury he had (I believe his ribs), it was still bothering him, he didn't exhibit nearly the amount of power we're used to seeing out of that guy.

That said, yes, TJ SHOULD win the DPOY award.

Until it is PUBLICLY announced I won't hold my breath. Stranger things have happened and..............................

Salute the nation

Donald is playing with broken ribs. Not sure I'd use this game to justify Watt's DPOY candidacy after Watt himself laid an egg last week and was on the sideline taking a break in a crucial junction of the game.

DPOY is during the season. Watt is hands down the winner. It isn't even close. Watt is as dominant as Donald and beat him in just about every statistical category and then some. It isn't close. If Watt loses, it's because it's a popularity vote just like the pro bowl. Players get in based on their career and not based only on what they did that year.
