They brought up the John 3:16 game, where he beat us in OT in the first round of the playoffs. We were favored by 8 or 9 or whatever.

We were there. Mrs. Fan and I put together a rally for Steelers fans in the parking lot. It was catered. Frenchy Fuqua signed autographs on the hood of my fan, and I DJ'd it all. It was super fun.

I remember walking into the stadium, and this one Denver fan tells me that when the Steelers win today, it is nothing huge. He compared it to pushing a handicapped kid over.

Friggin' Tomlin couldn't put a W on the board that day. Towards the end of the 3rd quarter, you could tell that the loss was coming. That one hurt.

Kudos to Tebow. I feel that he never really got a legit chance in the nfl. All he does is lead and win. Oh well.

One could make the argument that they never really recovered from the Tebowing. Kind of the anti-Immaculate Reception in team lore and fortunes from that point on.

Or maybe it's just time to move on from Shades.

If they don't play max run protect the entire friggin game the Steelers win.

They showed zero respect to Tebow's passing and he averaged nearly 30 yards a pass.

Yeah. That's coaching. At least they adjusted at half time.

and then some here wonder why so many are ready to hang it up with CMVLTCOTY. It's so many of these instances that just frustrate the hell outA us. That game was so winnable even Djfan's wife could have brought home the bacon.

Edit: No offense to wife or her abilities, just giving her the bacon option

From that game forward things just slowly went to **** defensively.

She has some delicious bacon

I admire Tebow a great deal. He seems a very centered and content person. The win proved he could have been coached up to be a NFL QB.

So, when is his staged try out???

The low point of my Steeler watching career. We got embarrassed by a guy playing QB who couldn't hold Johnny Maziel's jockstrap.

I was most irritated with the Dan Diego loss in the AFCC. Apparently Tomlin isn’t the only Steeler coach to under perform when we were heavy favorites. [emoji848]

I was devastated by that loss but was kinda a blessing since I feel the niners woulda whooped us in the SB also

We had a hall of fame DC. Anybody and their dog could see we needed to make adjustments after the first quarter. Stick with the game plan no matter what, has much changed? It was the first time I got to thinking That Lebeau and Tomlin had to go,it was humiliating.

I said it a million times if I said it once...Tim Tebow is the kinda guy you hope your daughter brings home to marry. He is a good guy, well grounded, good looking, and smart. He wasn't ever going to be a consistently good NFL QB. Hell, he didn't even beat us that day...our coaches did. Tebow just took what was left wide open for the taking.

I lived in San Diego then. I learned to never mouth off about a guaranteed win.

I can still see his wind up......................

And just for the record he didn' do anything wrong with the "Tebow" at all. It wasn't divided and he never pushed anything. He just knelt and gave thanks for what ever the play was.
