Want to see the "hold" on Miller with 1:00 left in the game and Williams gains 20?

So I recorded the game, and decided to focus on a few things. First, the spot on a Williams run in the 1st quarter where he wound up getting the TD on 4th down? He had a 1st down on the 2nd down play and the spot sucked ***. And in the 4th, Brown caught a ball from Jones and got an easy 1st ... and the refs spotted it 3rd and 1. The spots were horrid.

I then took some stills of the "holding" call on Miller after Williams gained 20 on 1st down. Here is the sequence:

Horrid call ... horrible. Game hangs in the balance, and the Steelers backup QB hands off to the backup RB, and he rolls for 20, and the refs call holding ON THIS???

All depends on where the ref is. I could see how that perhaps looks like he's inside of the guys shoulder pads if the ref is at an obtuse angle

I'm glad someone brought this up, I called this out in the game thread, that call was complete BS! That block was as text book as it can get, that should have never been called, especially in a game that close. One thing for sure, you won't be seeing that crew refereeing a super bowl any time soon. They even tried to add on 2 more yards when it was 3rd and 2 they advanced the marker to 3rd and 4 on that same drive... Good thing coach Tomlin caught it and had it fixed. They've been screwing us all year to be honest.

I still think the one last week against the bungles was a result of the Ref being embarrassed by the poor spot on Heath's lunge. It was bang bang. Two yard run. My son said he saw video of the Ref with his hand on the flag at snap. Haven't seen it myself.

At one point in the game the chains were 2-4 yards out of synch on opposite sides of the field. They stopped the game to get them lined up for crissake!
How does a referee know where the correct Mark for a first down is when he looks at the pin and it's 2-4 yards wrong?
Steelers were jobbed in the Bengals game. The Bengals got away with PI non-calls while Steeler defenders seemed to get the hankie.

Dan Fouts CBS announcer is still talking of the pick when Brown ran at end of game. Odd how all fingers point at Steelers but you can pick out at least three calls you shake your head on. If anyone watched Dallas Hockley's crew once more showed the ultimate , we have no idea what is going on when on the fumble all five refs looked at each other and none knew what to call.

Miller has gotten ripped on a couple of bad holding calls in recent weeks. If they call him for that, you need to call someone for holding on every play.

Quite possibly my least favorite color commentator out there.

I'd love to see the P*triots called one time for the WR pick plays. That's all they ran against us in the first game and still run each and every week. I bet they've never been called once on it.

Cheating ******** get away with...well, cheating and everything else.

We get phantom penalties all ******* day long. Who am I to thank for this unneeded adversity?

I'm all for conspiracy theories but aren't we one of the least penalized teams in the league this year? I think the refs are just bad in general, not that they are singling us out.

That was true a week or two ago when I posted a link for it. Haven't checked, lately. Quite a change when, last year around this time, the Steelers were one of the most penalized.

doesnt penalties equate to coaching?

in the pics above, Miller was obviously mistaken for the resident Proctologist.

I think that is the problem .. the NFL has sent the word down that the Steelers need to get more penalties ..

the problem is When. THose false penalties are affecting 3rd downs to make it worse

They didn't replay that **** on tv here because it was such horseshit. Just like the league. Those ***** up in chowder land can do any god damn thing they want with impunity. It's a joke. I get mad every time i think about it.
