This guy might not be a good head coach but right now IMO he is the best Defensive Coordinator in the NFL.

Anytime you hold Aaron Rogers to 77 yds throwing the football in a game you are doing something right!

Holy crap man what a performance.

INCREDIBLE! And to top it off this guy was unemployed last year.

I gave the broncos zero chance in that game. They really impressed me. I thought their D was for real, but I did not expect them to be that good. The offense really showed up and Manning looked much better. If they keep playing like that our game against them just became much harder. One good thing is the packers did not blitz much and we blitz a lot. Hopefully that will make a difference.

I totally agree. His dad was not too bad of a coach either, even though he was a bum.

Hopefully Ben is 100%....because he's the type of QB that can play against a defense like that.

I wanna see how bout new LT stacks up against Ware. Manning will struggle against our defense.

Philips is most definitely a superb DC. His plan for Rogers was simple, seal off the edges and keep Rogers in the pocket. It worked.

He is a good defensive coach, but it helps when you have good players. I think they 3 Pro Bowl players in the secondary. I know Talib and Harris are. Then you've got Von Miller and Ware as pass rushers. The secondary is the key though.

He is without question a damn good defensive coach, but you have to admit halfway through the season, Butler is doing a good job here.....so far. Go Steelers!
