I didnt disagree with you regarding the xs and os because its a legitimate opinion you're entitled too. There's no distastefulness regarding your opinion of his gameplanning skills. I dont agree because19 non losing seasons seem to defy that logic, regardless of what you think of the 19. Numbers dont lie in this instance. You can call it anything you want, but you cant call it a coincidence

Like I said in the edited version of my previous comment...there's a difference between standing on business and being ten toes down about something and then saying what you said in this thread even so much as to entertain discovery of additional rumor mill news.

I am sure people have to be careful what they bring to TMZ due to legal risks. Perhaps some aren’t interested in gaining something from the report. Many reasons people don’t elevate events. Kordell didn’t have multiple reports backing up his allegations with pictures. His was just a singular rumor. This one came with reports from multiple people and pictures with said girl.

A pretty significant difference and a bad comparison.

he can thank Big Ben for most of the success. Then the last years, yeah kudos to him for keeping the team barely above average at the cost of not looking for a new franchise QB and keeping the team in a loop of mediocrity.

again and for the last time, I don't believe the rumors are true and I'd still would ask Tomlin for his signature if I ever cross path with him. You can either believe me or not, I really dgaf as I already think you have issues and I shouldn't engage in discussion with people in need of help.

A little insight to everything is that Tomlin had the most power, it would be his inability to not have a QB.

Tomlin had the most free power to acquire said QB, but wasn't able to secure it (inability to obtain and develop).

Here we go on a 15 + post on how little I know, how lacking in knowledge I am, POS may come into play, lack of acumen,
disgrace to the message board, no insight or receipts, abnormal weather, drought like conditions, River flowing at normal level,
gasoline prices soaring, all my fault and to my credit.

The point in that post was that it is highly doubtful any other team would give him a better chance to succeed than he got here in Pittsburgh.

There's zero legal risks if its true coming from a person who has no NDA or confidential relationship with the parties involved....and if there wasn't interest in gaining something from it they would never have put it out there to begin with. I dont know if anybody who doesn't do something for nothing.

There's tons of people with celebrity status who have been exposed (Pitino, Watson, Vrabel). If there was truly any fire where there's smoke regarding the Tomlin he would have been exposed by now...no doubt in my mind.

I don't think he'll go to NE, just saying they have the one thing he never had to find, and the one thing he never could find or develop, and that's the most important position, QB.

Last I checked, football is a team sport. 53 players and an entire coaching staff.

It's the head coach and coaching staff's responsibility to scheme, make adjustments, implement their offense, defense, and special teams.
For almost 20 years, Tomlin more than proved he was inadequate and inept at any of these things.
His silver tongue and natural charisma fooled everyone into getting him the job.
Once he jettisoned all of Cowher's staff and players, and had only his staff and players to execute, he failed and failed miserably for over a decade.
And speaking of franchise QBs, he wasted FRANCHISE QB Ben Roethlisberger's prime years.
Wasted Cam Heyward, TJ Watt, Antonio Brown, Le'Veon Bell, and countless other All Pros, ProBowlers, and stars.

I VEHEMENTLY defended Tomlin and told everyone complaining about him they were kneejerk reacting and to let him get all his players and coaches in.
I ate my crow, came hat in hand, and apologized to everyone for not seeing what they saw sooner than I did.

I understand that to you, Tomlin is the greatest coach ever because he had cool analogies and catchphrases and everyone loved him because he was charismatic and positive energy.
I'll take an assshole coach that knows the sport and can teach the sport over the loveable loser EVERY SINGLE DAY.
Tomlin is the epitome of the phrase nice guys finish last.
The NFL is a business and he has ZERO business being a coach of any kind in it.

I’ve never quite understood this defense of CMT. He (along with Kahn) are the guys responsible for putting the players on the field. And we all know who had the last say. So in fact “Tomlin having everything here” is of course his responsibility. I would suggest that it was longer than the last several seasons.
We all knew he built a decent team. But anyone with any football brains at all had hope…..but knew in their hearts there was no way in hell they were doing anything whatsoever in the season that counts. They got absolutely humiliated in everything after 2010.
If there is ever a statue of CMT put outside the stadium it should be made of Fool’s Gold.
