As you may have heard, on Sunday the Steelers announced that they would not take the field until after the National Anthem was sang. The problem was that Alejandro Villanueva took a few too many steps and ended up too far out in front of the rest of the group. That resulted in video and […]

Good man he will defend to a fault.

Villanueva has nothing to apologize for.

That's right. They should be apologizing to him. The world is just full of ignorant snowflakes. If you are free to protest the national anthem, isn't someone else free to be critical of you for it? Does the President forgo his 1st amendment rights? Hey, I wish Trump wouldn't have brought it up, it seems like it was dying off. He is one of those guys who stomps in a calm puddle. It's clearing up, and he has to stomp in it and muddy it up again. Still, he has that right, doesn't he? And another thing, who started this divisiveness? I would argue the players, so don't get all hurt when someone rips you for it and call him divisive. It makes no damn sense.

I can't believe that Villanueva feels embarrassed! The coaching staff and team need to rally around Big Al and support him and his decision. He did absolutely nothing wrong! His teammates need to be his soldiers in arms and support him through what I'm sure is a very difficult time for him and certainly unwarranted.

YOU DID THE RIGHT THING BIG AL!!!

I FULLY SUPPORT WHAT HE DID! He didn't do anything wrong!

He's embarrassed because his teammates have to deal with people calling them dumb niggers all day long on social media because of this.. I've been getting hate emails and social media messages all day. I can't imagine what their **** looks like.

Whatever they're called, thats not his fault. They can blame themselves, taking a stand can come with consequences. They need to accept the consequences of their actions, if they really believed in what they were doing then the name calling wouldn't bother them one bit.

As for AV: For a few hours yesterday he was the baddest ************ on the planet. He has nothing to apologize for, he showed more courage in his actions than all the kneeling nitwits combined. Dilly-Dilly ************. RLTW.

Well said, he's not apologizing for standing or supporting anything, he's apologizing to his teammates.

He is the President of the United States. He has the right to blow up the whole friggen world. Should he exercise that right? His puddle stomping has a purpose and he will continue to do it.

He didn't do anything to be brave. He just wanted to be within view of the flag. That was it. It just so happened he got singled out. The guy doesn't want attention
