if the NFL had decided that he was not fit to ever play again when he went to prison, then fine, that would have been fair, but they offered him a path to play again and he did everything they asked and then some... does that erase what he did? no certainly not, but you cant just ignore everything he did to try to compensate for brutally murdering dogs.

there are going to be some people who say you cant ever forgive actions like this. that's one point of view. the other point of view is the don't judge angle. Somewhere in the middle is where you give a guy a second chance with a "short leash" and see if he can walk the straight and narrow.

there is no use trying to debate with people who are passionate about things like this... there isn't a black and white right or wrong way to view this but everyone will adamantly think their view is right... its definitely a blow off steam night....

Why is Tomlin getting a pass on this? He's the one who loves Vick and wanted him. It stems from their time in the Virginia dog fighting circuit. They probably tag-team raped dogs together. What Vick did is no big deal to Tomlin.

Why can't I be pissed at both? This is a STEELERS message board. If the Steelers hired a Child Slave Runner, would you FINALLY be pissed or would you just roll the **** over and give good ole' Art Rooney II the benefit of the doubt?

This is a disgrace. A ******* disgrace for the organization we hire this 35 year-old washed up dog killer and animal torturer and our head coach is defending it because he has a "big arm".

I don't give a **** if other teams want to hire him. This is the Pittsburgh Steelers and the reputation of this organization used to mean something, to the city, to the fans, to the family who owns it..

I'm not from the south, but I have been stationed down here for over 25 years. Please explain to me how dog fighting is part of the "disgusting southern lifestyle", and what exactly the disgusting southern lifestyle is? And what does the confederate flag have to do with dog fighting? So if Vick was bankrolling the fighting, wouldn't that make him a flag flying southern racist? That's a good enough excuse for me not support him.

the real question here is whether the child slave runner is a better option at backup RB than Williams... I mean how fast is he really? wait are you talking about a child slave who is a runner or a runner of child slaves... cause the kid would definitely be a RB as long as he is at least dri archer's size, but the slaver would probably make a better linebacker... hed be good at running people down....

I already did, guess you missed it. Personally I find it repugnant and think anyone who displays one is a backwards ignorant redneck. But we do have first amendment rights in this country. Speech and expression do not rise anywhere near the same level as brutal violent action.

Does that mean I'd want a KKK member signing on with the Steelers? No ******* way.
