Update: Luck out for Thursday

Sorry to see Andrew possibly out for this game. I think this could have been a high scoring exciting game with both Luck and Ben dueling it out. Probably still will be with the back-up though.

Scott Tolzien, a 29-year-old career backup with just two NFL starts to his name.

Playin' the Stillers, he'll look like the 2nd coming of Joe Montana. Gawd, I would like the Black and Gold for once, to take someone like this and collect 2 interceptions or so, get about 4 sacks, and maybe get a strip/fumble recovery - for once, just crush a backup QB.

Like this past weekend with the Clowns?

I'm still playing TY Hilton in fantasy

We were one fumble away from putting Denver away last year, and they happen to be the team that won the Suerbowl. I'll take my chances once we're in.

Joe

you were also one jets bills game away from not making it

Andrew Luck (concussion) not seen at practice

Per beat writer Zak Keefer of the Indianapolis Star, there was "no sign" of him. Passing through the concussion protocol on a short week is a near impossible task. With Luck almost guaranteed to sit out, it looks like Scott Tolzien will be under center Thursday night versus Pittsburgh

I'm not sure what the spread was when it opened, but Vegas obviously is going w/Luck being out. Steelers -7

Appears they're going to start Stephen Morris instead of Tolzien

regardless of the team making the playoffs Tomlin should be axed if this team doesn't win at least one game in the playoffs

I will go one step farther one team that isn't from Cincinnati. But by the looks of it that won't be a mention this year.

Vegas has Steelers 10 pt favorites

Joe

We were one Pacman and Burfict moment away from being out of the playoffs in the first round.

Ryan Clark on espn just said if we lose (with no luck) coaching changes should be made.

For some reason, I am expecting Luck to be ready to go tomorrow..

So you didn't watch the game last Sunday???

I have that same feeling. My guess is they will re-evaluate him tomorrow morning and clear him to play tomorrow night. I actually hope he plays. I want us to beat a good offense on the road. We will need to do that if we make the playoffs. May as well practice now.

It's pretty sad if the NFL FO folks are pressuring on any level to get Luck into the game.

Then with the other hand attempting to downplay the effects of concussions and head trauma in players' later years.

Hello Pot, I'm Kettle.

Luck out, their starting safety is out, starting CB is questionable, and Montcrief is questionable

Yea, but the Rooneys are repellent to change. If they make the playoffs there is zero......point....zero chance of them axing Cool Shades.
