Oh I get it. I think it is hogwash, but I get it. Rather than overt racism, it is "brief, everyday exchanges that send denigrating messages to certain individuals because of their group membership." So basically if you disagree, shake your head, roll your eyes or sigh, you are being microaggressive. Oh and only white people can be microaggressive.

It's not been a good last two weeks for me. First I find out that my cousin from Italy, currently living in Egypt, is married to a Muslim. Then yesterday find out that after working at the University of Pittsburgh for 10 months Ron Jr. has changed his voter registration from Independent to Democrat. I texted him and said "For the love of God man, at least go Libertarian if you don't want to be a Republican." He said he did that so he could vote against Hillary in the primary. I said that means you're voting for Bernie and he's worse. Apparently he's getting indoctrinated in the ways of Libtardism.

My daughters are taking an AP World History course this year. They already know that they must spew liberal bullshit in their essays if they want to get a good grade. You should read the chapters on Islam and all of its wonderful contributions.

I remember a class I had that was taught by an ultra-liberal academic type. There was an essay about ideal work teams or some ****. I tried my damnedest to write about the importance of cultural and gender diversity, etc. She still gave me a C.

Well, the sad thing is that the AP curriculum and testing is now designed by the College Board to align with the Common Core, so it doesn't really matter how liberal or conservative your teacher is. Yes, our government has seized control of college level courses taught to high school kids, and now dictates how they must be taught.

I can't WAIT for AP US History next year.

It wasn't bad here for Kathryn. She took AP History last year. When she did see something that concerned her, she would ask either Will or I about it. Her teacher was pretty good at letting them draw their own conclusions and expressing the differing opinions-provided they were backed up. Her AP gov't teacher this year seems too easy- kiddo has a 100.98 average in the class and hasn't talked to me about anything they've learned. I know the teacher is a rabid Bernie supporter (as are a big chunk of the teachers at the HS), so I just hope that the teacher keeps her political leanings out of the discussions.

Which is worse. It is one thing to have it thrust on you, by birth. But to make a conscious decision, he has to be mentally deficient.
