Obvious JUST rumors but you have to wonder WHAT IF??? If he is released should we make a move to try and sign him? I say HECK YEA!!!! Bye bye Mitchell for sure. Like I said all rumors at this point but how could you not want a guy who was targeted 76 times last year and didn't allow a TD. Not to mention what he brings in the return game and turnovers.
 
There are if's upon if's, as even if he was released, the Steelers would likely not pay him what he would ultimately get on the market.

He would be a major difference maker for the Steelers given the issues at the safety positions, though
 
We can't sign anyone if we tag Bell on the 6th and probably even if we sign him to a contract.
 
The ol tired we can't sign anyone due to close salary cap crap. They can sign one or two players, and last year signed a decent amount of players.

I just want them to sign a S and ILber.

Regardless Math has some injury concerns or not?
 
I wanted him when he was the Honey Badger and dropped like a rock in the draft. Kid has HOF potential.

HAD hof potential. With his injuries, I doubt he's really worth chasing now. Someone will give him a contract that Pittsburgh would scoff at
 
he made his money with the cards and past few years has been a lousy az team that has just found ways to lose like how clv does, worth to call his agent throw some numbers front loaded deal, say 4.5 mil with a high incentive bonus i.e roster bonus if he plays certian amount of games, amount of tackles, bonus per interception or turn over caused.

Well they have Bell to give all that money to. Breaking off those giant 27 yard runs and catching a bunch of short passes. Who needs defense when you can have a middle of the pack offense.

Interesting. This afternoon I would have said no chance in hell when I saw that he was ranked as the #2 remaining free agent behind Suh.
