I truly hope the staff works out a little tune up in the upcoming week 17 game vs the Stains.

We likely will host the Jags in the divisional round which will be our first rematch for revenge/redemption.
Use this week 17 game to tune up a bit and work on the quick hitting run game in the first half. This is a change from Bell's patient approach and needs to be worked out a bit. The Jags tend to keep their LBs a yard or two deeper than the norms which works well for them against a "patient" runner. They need to be punched in the mouth with quick hitters to force them up. The depth of their LBs also messes with the numerous drag routes our receivers run through that same area. Force them up with quick hitters then kill them deep with PA.

I realize every break went their way in round 1, but our staff should work out kinks/weaknesses vs an opponent that will be playing to win in week 17. Get ready for the Jags while showing the cheating Massholes a new wrinkle in the run game to think about.

Hopefully we can pull all the keys in the 2nd half and bubble wrap them, but we have some work we could do to improve our chances vs the only AFC teams that have beat us.

One last wrinkle I'd like to see is Dobbs in the backfield as a RB/2nd QB for a couple of trickeration plays just to put it out there on tape for other teams to waste time preparing for.

HERE WE GO STEELERS!!!

I fully expect to see the starters for at least the first quarter - pull them all after that. The game will 'only matter' if the JETS are demolishing the *'s - I don't see that happening...

So, we can settle for the 2nd spot and prep for whoever comes our way...since JAX is playing in a late game we'll just have to wait and see if the Titans give them a game...

JAX is locked into #3. TEN needs to win. Will be interesting.

If Baltimore wins Sunday they'll be playing at KC in the wild card round. Jags will get Ten/But/chargers whoever survives there

I actually prefer the 2nd seed. If Jaguars and Chiefs win there games then the Patriots would face the Chiefs and Steelers would face Jaguars. Even though Jaguars have been playing amazing defense this year I like my chances against them more than a very talented Chiefs team. Also, gives a chance to pay them back as well as Patriots.

No guarantee we get Jax. They just **** the bed v the Niners. The onus is on them to win their wild card game first.

Definitely not a guarantee we get Jags, but it is highly likely...and we could sure use to prep a bit for them as we are already very familiar with the Rats and usually handle the Chiefs. The Cheats will likely get the Rats or Chiefs, both usually at least give them a good game.

I just feel using this week to tune up for likely rematches would be very helpful, and the Jags D was about the only real counter for our O...we will need to be able to run quick hitters if we want a better outcome imho.
