Since he may be out a couple week, what do we do if he can't play the first 3 games? Our depth stinks. Would we call Keisel? My guess is that he won't be ready for the opener.
I do not believe that Kiesel could be close to playing this year. He tore a bicep or triceps toward the end of the season last year if I remember correctly, and I suspect that is a long healing process. Same type of injury ended the career of Aaron Smith and when you start getting hit with injuries like that it is just time to move on, there is only so much that the body can take.
Feel bad for tuitt, looking for a strong showing from him. He gets healed up and WHoaalA we may see it yet. Replacement, not so sure is on the team. Like some have said, watch the cuts and maybe we land a talent.
Fortunately from what is on here it will be short term so shuffling the folks around a bit will be fine. It is not like we are expecting a strong showing out of the gate anyway. The general commentary so far from most folks is it might be a while before the defense gets it's act together. Keep in mind we are now down two defensive lineman for the start of the season, Gethers and Tuitt.
Didn't Tomlin say that Tuitt is out for "a couple weeks"? Why are we now speculating about him missing the first 3 games? Should I start a thread about what happens if Ben slips in the shower this afternoon and misses the first 3 weeks?
From the injury to the first game is 18 calendar days. Again, where the **** did you get the idea that Tuitt could miss the first 3 games? Game 1 is the only game that is in doubt...
Not able to find the link again from my mobile but last update on Tuitt from steelersdepot had him day to day. So he shouldn't miss any regular season games when it counts.
