Tuitt Injury

Well that slows things down a little. I'm waiting until MRI to see the extent of it. One thing to Remeber is we actually have some depth as compared to last year. How fast does one return from a torn biceps???

mother ******

Have no fear people! MRI hasn't been done yet so we don't know the extent of the injury.

I'd say there is about a 1% chance it's not torn and season ending. The tone of all the reports is not good, which means they pretty much already know. Trust me, I will be thrilled if I'm wrong on this one.

Schefter is no different than most major reporters in they are always trying to report the news first. Which it very well might be torn but they haven't even done a MRI yet if true. So we don't don't know the extent of the injury.

Yep. Put some LT Walton in the mix and I'd use Harrison as a traditional DE in obvious passing down. Imagine Watt and Harrison coming at you from the same side.

Yeah Harrison can play DE, if we are dead set on using 2DL, which we rarely get an inside push with, then use a line of Harrison, Hargrave, Heyward with Watt, Shazier, Dupree at LB, and use 5DBs, Williams *** is on the sideline

This team will never be healthy. I'm tired of the fantasies of how good we "could" be. We never will be the team Colbert has built

Heyward said Tuitt seemed in good spirits in the locker room and Kaboly put on Twitter that team mates don't think the injury is to bad. Of course none of them are doctors. 🤞

Yeah, Dirty Red should be starting over 98 from everything I've seen.

Well, to be truthful, the injury list is long, and it's leaguewide. Overtraining maybe?

It is a violent physical game, injuries will happen.

Which is why depth is important.

I really think its a lack of actual hitting these guys do now in practice their bodies aren't used to the pounding. I think there are many more injuries now than before the present CBA maybe I'm wrong but it sure seems that way to me. You can lift you can train but nothing like hitting another human every day to build the proper muscles and stamina to play the game.

what is with our DLs and torn bicep muscles? Keisel in 2010, Heyward last season and now Tuitt. Sucks!

You might not be able to tell the extent of a tear before an MRI, but if the arm is can't bend, you know it's a tear.

Complete recovery time, after surgery, is 3-4 months. Still a shot of returning in December for the playoff run.

If it's a tear and he's marked for surgery this week, he will be put on IR. Remember the Steelers can bring back 2 players this year, and Tuitt would be a priority return (since he's a valuable starter).

$61M for a china doll?

Horrific

Weak assed defense just got weaker though
