Tuesday optimism: Anyone remember how difficult our schedule was in 2008?

I remember. Very balanced team. ******* awesome playoff run. I will need to see a lot more from this team to get me optimistic about a playoff run, if we even make the playoffs.

Lol i barely drink, slash. Literally, I can make a 6-pack last two months. Yes, I know, I know, I'm a prick. But dont act like you arent an insufferable **** from time to time, either. I apologize for the comment about your Mother, but really, lets not play Mr. tough guy with the laughable "discussion one day" comment, come on now lol
 
At least with a tough schedule we can't play down to our competition.

You seem to think being disrespectful to people outside of this board is not a big deal. Everything is a joke to you SMH. Sticking up for your own BTW isn't being a toughguy, It is showing a person that kind of behavior won't be acceptable or tolerated.

You live by what you deem acceptable, as do we all.

I need to see more consistent play from the team.
If the offense can settle down. Especially Ben who seemed to be in a mental slump with Jax.
Conner is still in a mental slump.


The defense has been suspect too.

Most NFL defenses are suspect!

Defense is a pleasant surprise this year to me
Number 6 in total D, lead the lead in sacks.
They give up under 23 points per game and with the potentially potent O should easily score 24 a game!

I hear yaz Pittsburgh Charlie, our defense started out about how I figured it would but then have gotten it together and are actually surprising me a little. Is it the powerhouse "D" of the 90s, hell no, but then the NFL made certain NO "D" will ever be like those again. When our STEELERS can put a complete game together they make the POWERHOUSE type teams (Carolina) look average at best. What is the secret to getting a team to play to their caliber?? I don't think neither you or I have that figured out yet but also Mr. TOMLIN would like to know if we ever get that exclusive information.

That is impressive. I had to triple take the sacks. It doesn't look pretty on tv, but the defense is pulling their weight
