The one thing I was ecstatic that they passed.
I could care less about partisan oneupsmanship. I grew out of that **** in High School. If you want to start caring to get legislation passed. All parties have to be involved. Not just one.
Also stating that a majority of centrists, me included, enjoyed the SOTU. It's the first time he acted presidential in our country, instead of being petty and divisive. Hopefully it's a habit.

In fairness, there is a whole lot of "petty and divisive" in our country, and it isn't only Trump. He surely didn't start it, as it has been going on in earnest since roughly 2001. Now if you argue whether or not he is perfecting it, there is certainly a discussion to be had. But to act like petty and divisive started with Trump is disingenuous at best.

Sorry, that weak, silly, flaccid belief needs to face the political discussions, diatribes and ******* duels of 1796-1808, and the editorials, comments, and diatribes about Abraham Lincoln, 1859-1865.
Fact: Every Presidential candidate from 1796 to 1808 - Washington, Jefferson, Burr, Breckinride, Adams, Pinckney, King, Clinton - was accused by major newspapers of being a coward, liar, royalist, traiter, treasonist, adulterer, intent on ruining America, preferably, carving up the United States and selling it to the highest bidder.
Oh, and I have excluded the extraordinary Alexander Hamilton from that list for the sole reason that he NEVER sought the Presidency. But the undeniable truth is that Hamilton was subjected to the most base, despicable, cowardly, dishonest, and vile defamation ever heaped on a public figure.

The Libertarian Party has decided to block Ron Paul and Judge Napolitano from speaking at their convention. An organizer from the Mises Institute had lined both to speak at the LNC in July, and paid the cost to have them speak, but the LP chair, Daniel Hayes is triggered by Paul's critique of the Party for its failings. So he's responded by rejecting to have either speak at the event.

Of course both parties have to contribute but since Pelosi and Reid took leadership, they stopped working together. And, Obama, never reached across the aisle once in 8 years. Trump has done it countless times. Also, Trump was very Presidential on several of his teleprompter speeches. Not so much when he goes off the cuff but that's what got him elected.

I am so sick of the swirl around the "shithole" countries remark. 85% of people have used that terminology to describe places in the 3rd world. What did he say that wasn't true? If Haiti was so ******* great, would they be wanting to come here? Maybe, but probably not in the numbers that they are. Some countries in Africa are shitholes. Is that Trump's fault? Maybe look at the leaders of those nations that aren't taking steps to improve the lives of their citizens.
