They had the misfortune of facing the dynasty Cowboys twice in those games, so that was really bad timing. They also lost to Parcells Giants, and Mark Rypien and the Skins. Those two were their best chances to win but they just couldn't get over the hump.

I thought that was the Pats 9th Super Bowl and they have won 5, so that would be 4 losses.
