That was the first noteworthy play he made in camp.

Probably a guy who gets cut after Week 4 of pre-season

He won't make the team. But as an Aggie football fan, I always enjoyed watching him. He seemed like a threat to break it every time he touched the ball. He had a great burst through the line and often beat defenders to the corner. It looks like he's bulked up significantly for life in the NFL, which has cost him a step. He won't make it with Bell, Conner, Davis/Watson ahead of him, unfortunately, but I believe he could catch on somewhere. He's got a lot of talent

They have made room before for a lil' return guy....300+ pages worth if I recollect, but that would mean someone better suited to play football would have to go. Out of the running backs alone there are 3 guys ahead of him and we are for sure gonna halfta cut several more that are better suited on the roster as well.

I wish him all the best but our return guys will need to be on the roster somewhere before they get that job.

I see it like this.. we have the best wR in football and having him return kicks isn't worth the risk. Trey showed good decision making, smart enough to let the ball fo, and just fast enough to get out to the 20-25 each time.

I'd like to see him get all the returns next game and see what he can do against better competition.

He catches the ball well...and that's not as easy as it seems.

I agree, give him a real shot at the returner job

Davis sucks on kick offs, another stupid pick-up of an over the hill back-up, cut him

A possible Stefan Logan type guy.
He looks a lot thicker than Logan.

I wouldn't be surprised if he makes the team

Doesnt matter what he is. He cant man a position as a backup. They will be keeping 5 or 6 wr. And 4 or 5 OLBs. No room for a punt returner.

I'm gonna catch hell, but Davis has not impressed me. If Trey can give of close to what Davis has as a RB I'd give him the roster spot

I agree Skott. We haven't seen Williams in the backfield yet so the jury may still be deliberating.

If he can match or exceed Davis's/Fitz's performance then by all means keep him.
