Didn’t say waived, just said he will be beat out for a starting position.

Don't see that happening either. Not saying he is a star just don't think the depth behind him is all that great.

Despite cutting preseason to 3 games, I predict whiny media people will still complain that preseason should be shortened again.

I have no doubt you’re more than likely right, just making a bold prediction. Other people can make guesses, just trying to throw a wrench into training camp. You never know. And there is no hate for me for him, I think he’s barely above average. The team did not pick up his options so they must feel the same . There’s a reason I don’t make these decisions, LOL

No harm in predictions. If someone was to displace him from the lineup that would be an upgrade and nothing but a positive for the position. I am hoping a corner jumps in and surprises.

Josh Dobbs gets cut or moved to PS.

1) Our OL (offensive line) will be ranked 16th or higher by end of season

2) Our rushing offense will be ranked top 12 or higher

3) Our Defense will finish top 7 or better

4) Tomlin retains "non-losing" streak

5) We will be introduced as the PITTSBURGH STEELERS,....... SuperBowl Champions

Salute the nation

Steven Nelson signs.

Cam Heyward liked this tweet, which could mean absolutely jack squat, but there it is.

I think it will be Edmunds last season and from that perspective he is certainly a disappointing 1st round choice, but that dude plays a hell of a lot of snaps and there is no way he is replaced by anyone on the current roster. My bold prediction is...........
Pat Freirmuth has a much larger role than most expect with Eric Ebron becoming the large inside receiver he really is. The team wants to run the ball. You are playing with 10 in the run game with Ebron.

Trai Turner is cut.

Saw a picture of Trai Turner with a huge waffle cone in his hand looking pretty out of shape, so I wouldn't be too surprised if this happens.

Guy looks hungry, but in all the wrong ways.

I agree that Freiermuth will have a significant role. Poor TE blocking last year was a big part of the run game failures. It's clear they put a high priority on getting a TE that can be a real TE and not just a big WR.

Ebron is awful as an inline blocker, but if you split him out and have him crackback or just block in space then he can be effective vs the smaller DB by just getting in the way for a second.

I don't think PF will have a big stat season but he'll have a bunch of key plays, kind of like Heath Miller.

Harris Runs for 1400 yards and 650 yards passing.

Claypool leads the Steelers in catch's and yards.

Green becomes the starting Center by week 3

Tj becomes the highest paid defensive player in NFL history

The defense finish's top 3 in points allowed and yards allowed.

We surprise everyone and make the playoffs , win a playoff game and maybe just maybe get a chance at Stairway to seven

This is a great post. Exactly how I see it for Freirmuth. He ups the run game and cashes PA. Also agree with your Ebron point. Just because he is in the game doesn't mean you can't run. Just don't ask him to three point and block an outside linebacker. Force their package by standing him up and go 3 by 1. Let him chip and go to a safety or Crack edge.

I think you meant receiving?

Everyone giving season predictions in a Training Camp Prediction thread.

1. Jordan Berry is gone. I haven't been this excited about watching a punter since Dan Sepulveda
2. Najee Harris is going to impress a lot of folks at camp this year, especially in Canada's Offense, where Ben will have him as a check down option.
3. The Offensive line and Defensive line get into a brawl on the field at least once. I want to see some nasty from the OL...
4. Mike Tomlin will have the coolest shades of any coach on the field
5. The Primanti Sandwich bread will be even more stale this year at the stadium...Covid is to blame.

There will be no names who catch headlines and don’t even make the roster.

95% of the roster is already set, they just need to figure out the last couple of guys who can play special teams.

Our top three rookies will start/all earn significant playing time.

James Pierre will continue his growth from last year and be a solid option at CB.

Haskins will not impress but still make the team.
