Yes we need this division game, but nothing is more important than bringing in a #2 receiver before the deadline.They need to do whatever they have to and bring someone in like Waddle or Olave. I'd rather have Waddle as Olave is on his 4th concussion I believe.

Rooney said this would happen months ago...yeah it hasn't. If they don't do this we will then clearly know they are not serious about winning it all. This is the year to pull out all the stops as the division is there for the taking. No one looks dominant in the AFC or NFC, but the style of football we are playing will come to a screeching halt against the better teams without more firepower/points. We do well enough and who knows Rodgers may sign up for one more.

This is a different Tomlin team. More and more, I am starting to see Aaron Rodger's fingerprints on the offense and Jalen Ramsey on the defense. They take care of business tonight it could be the case. With Ramsey, Echols, Slay and JPJ, they should keep Chase and Higgins at bay and help out the pass rush against Bert. Rodgers is 13-6 on Thursday night and he doesn't slack off.

Yeah, that loss stung and it stinks. I was right about Rodgers, although, his 2 turnovers (the second should have also been incomplete, and possibly an illegal touching, I thought he was out of bounds) lead to 14 points. That said, Rodgers did put up 31 points. The players are there on defense for sure, but the Tomlin/Teryl Austin time is over. They need to figure this out yesterday.

Teams dont typically have 2 elite wrs... thats just fan fantasies... take a look at the WR duos around the league... Calvin Austin is producing at a wr 2 level. He was on pace for 600 yards when he went down. Thats really good for a wr2 in Smiths offense... its actually on par with

top teams wrs... teams arent carrying two #1 wrs on their roster very often... and most of the second wrs producing 500-800 yards and 40-60 catches.

If we bring in a wr, fine... but we absolutely shouldnt be spending premium picks on a #1 type wr at this point... not when the D looks utterly horrific. I mean Van Jefferson is a low end #2 in this league... he played that for the rams when they won the super bowl... Chase and Highans are exceptions to the rule, not the standard

We are above league average in putting up points this year... last year we were league average... we are currently 11th in the nfl,

We score more points and are more effective in the red area because of Roger's. His ball placement has been excellent most of the time.

The Steelers ranked 16th last year and prior to that his offenses were really bad in Atlanta. This year is an exception so far, but the progress we've seen has been good.

Call him 1b call him 2 I don't care. We have to have one if we are going anywhere worth talking about.

The so called exception to the rule-Chase and Higgins 2024- 1,708 and 911 yards respectively
