Top 5 steelers per position, the WR's

#1- Antonio Brown - I just can't see how he doesn't end up breaking all of Wards records.
#2- Hines Ward - Was always a solid receiver and best blocking receiver in the history of the NFL
#3- Stallworth - Was as consistent as they come and might not have been the big name guy but he was always the true #1 receiver
#4- Swann - Made some of the most spectacular and amazing catches in Steelers history
#5- Buddy Dial - I am going old school on you but in the era of no passing he had 2 thousand yard seasons and averaged 20+ ypc. Probably the worst trade in Steelers history.

Why are you so obsessed with me? Did I steal a girlfriend of yours at some point?

Piss in your cheerios?

Am I wrong you weren't trolling? As you throw **** out your ***, without fact checking. My second option was you were mentally challenged but I was trying to give you the benefit of the doubt.

hi

Sorry. Ward was the toughest received we ever had. Swann was knocked out of games on plays that Ward would have popped up and smiled on.
Probably true, but Swann made catches Ward couldn't imagine.

In the biggest games.

Swann got style points, but Ward was no stranger to catches in big games. That one EL threw him against Seattle was a thing of beauty............

Style points! Nobody but Swann catches those. That pass from El was perfect. Style points. You must be a youngin.

I agree CD, Swann's ability to catch the difficult ball was unmatched. Bryant had a somersault, and Holmes had a SB game winner, but Swann's ability to consistently outleap and highpoint the ball is the reason why he is a HOFer.

This is just wrong. Swann was a tough SOB that played through getting headhunted. Ward missed games due to concussions. If you think Swann was not a tough receiver go watch Super Bowl X111 where he catches a 10 yard curl, jumps 3 feet in the air catches the ball and is hammered . He was absolutely fearless as a receiver and much more explosive than Ward.

Yes, you are wrong. And personal insults break board rules.

Now, get over me. Your insecurities are the crux of the matter.

Yea, but Swann was fragile. His career even ended quickly. He tried to makes some tough catches - and did - but he'd be knocked out too often.

He missed games every season except 1 and never even had a 1,000 season. Yes, I know it was less of a throwing league then, but still, not one 1,000 season. Hard to consider that "best ever" territory.

I doubt it you look like a troll, you smell like a troll, you act like a troll.

I will continue to call you out when deserved.

Deal with it.

hi

1. Ward
2. Brown
3. Stallworth
4. Swann
5. Holmes Only because of the Catch.
Ward had the best hands and was the best big game receiver they have had. Brown could pass him but he needs about three more seasons like he has had so far. A championship would help to.

Our lists have 2HOFers, potentially 2 more and a SB MVP. That's an impressive position there.

Swann was not fragile, he layed in an era where the criminal; element as Noll called it headhunted for him. His career did not end early due to injuries, he got an incredible TV offer from ABC and decided to take it while the irons were hot. What you don't know could fill a swimming pool.

How many defenders were worried about getting knocked out of a game by Swann?

Advantage Ward.

Swann was a good blocker, most WRs were back then as it was a running game dominated league. The myth of Ward being an all time great blocker just keeps growing. He was a good, willing blocker but h=not a great blocker. watch old films and see Swann and Stallworth lay out as many defenders as Ward if not more.

It is natural as the old schoolers like me watched them at a young age and you tend to remember more details for the here and now. Younger crowd simply didn't see them play. Which is why when I rated them I kept production on the forefront of my listing. Thing of it is Swann and Stallworth had more of a opportunity to showcase their playoff skills. And Swann wouldn't be a HOFer without that. All three, Ward, Swann, and Stallworth have arguments for placements over each other.

Much love for them all.

Ward has very impressive numbers in the playoffs.

No. 3 all-time with 88 receptions
No. 3 all-time with 5 100 or more receiving yards
No. 3 all-time with 10 touchdowns (Stallworth is No. 2 with 12)
No. 3 all-time with most consecutive games (5) with a touchdown caught

Your flames are weak BTW best you stick to whatever you do best. Which appears to be
