Dude oozes football smarts.

I think he could be an OC for any team in this league with his knowledge and experience.

Would love to see him game planning for us instead of the current situation.
 
Our players choked away home field today man, coaching doesn't cause fumbles and interceptions.
 
The 2nd not was on Ben. The first, not so much. That was a cross between a mild hold an Brown giving up on the route.

He was the guy saying we were the most complete team today right? then when we were behind we were not the most complete team. I think I could do his job.
 
**** ROMO, he would NOT be a great offensive coordinator, why the **** would we want him................ Maybe in Lalala land yes but NOT here and not now. A talking head usually speaks in the after math of things or is subtle in his talk enough to make him look good. PRESSURE to call the play before the play is called is a HELL of a lot different than calling it from the televised booth of a talking head.

No BUY into this hot garbage.

There is a Tony Romo curse. He said Jax was the best team in the league after their last win way back when.

You must have missed the first game against Cleveland.
 
I can't say the OC called a bad game. Two many turnovers blocked a win.

Nothing wrong with the way the game was called. Did the oc call for Grimble to not put both hands on the ball when he knew he was going to get hit at the goal line? Did his play calling cause Conner to drop a ball when he got hit in the legs? Did he tell Washington to jump for a ball he could have caught in stride for possibly a touchdown? Did he make Ben miss a wide open JuJu for what likely would have been another touchdown? People love to blame the coaches for every failure. This loss was on a handful of players who made unforced errors. We should have had 40 points.
 
We scored 17. Grimble cost us a guaranteed 7, we had a FG blocked, that's 3 more possibly, and Ben ended the game at their goal line with a pic. If they take care of the ball we score 30 easy. I didn't even count Conner turning into butter fingers the last couple games fumbling in their end. Coaching didn't lose this game, our players piss poor offensive execution did.

Not really. On the last drive, they should have given it to Conner, rather than call a tough to convert fade route pass. Conner either scores or runs down the clock.

Romo was right on letting the clock run down to two minutes. I think Randy is a big time upgrade over Todd.

Conner fumbles when he's off balance or trying to do to much. He's fine at the goal line.
 
Not that it matters when you leave 3T D's on the field but who the hell was doing their homework 4 Denver blocking field goals damn sure wasn't Tomlin he just stands on the sidelines with his black finger up his black nose Denver blocked three field goals the same way earlier in the season hello!

The OC called 2 incredible plays that had both Conner, and Grimble wide open for 3rd down conversions, and the both fumble. That's not on the OC.

Plus the first call of the second half had JuJu wide the **** open, and Ben missed him. Ben then over threw a wide open Washington. There were a ton of missed opportunities in this game, even with the TOs, the Steelers were on the goal line with a chance to win. That RPO call was a head scratcher though, but I'm not faulting him for Ben throwing to a double covered AB.

AB misses a wide open receiver as well on his pass.
 
Connor mid read that second down run at the goal line.
If he bounces out instead of cutting back to the inside.. he scores
 
No this games not on tomlin even though many other losses have been!..a hand full of Steelers gave this one away!... They're finally after a handful of wins in a row playing like the team I knew they were from the beginning of the season! An old quarterback a stupid head coach an offensive coordinator that I wouldn't put on a high school field... we are inconsistent at best and good luck down the road when we start playing playoff Calibre teams!
