Tomlin sucks

But he won a Superbowl 10 years ago and has won a bunch of regular season games.

I doubt that will be the story at the end of this season.

Maybe Deebo knew something we didn't.

I'm thinking locker room culture.
His working mentality probably wasn't seeing eye to eye with the current fragile minds of the youngsters today.

That's my only guess.

But, but guys! 13-3! And, and never a losing season! (until now, that is)

He has always sucked but he had Ben and a great team to carry him to wins he shouldn't have had. The end is near for the moron, this year or next will end the clown's tenure.

What ???

Nobody wants to mention Ben's problems ?

He's definitely on a downward slide and we better start thinking about where we are going, 'cause we're fixin' to leave the station pretty soon.

What were Ben’s problems in the first half, or last week...the only thing on a downward slide is Coach Cliche and what he has turned this team and organization into.

Ben has been cheated by playing for a weak player's coach like Tomlin. He has never developed the cerebral part of the game instead relying on his incredible ability to ad lib and make plays. this is why he has never been a consistently good red zone QB and is not in the same class a s a Brady, Rodgers, Brees or Peyton Manning. he should be better than all of them but he has never been great at scoring points despite loaded teams, etc. Can you imagine if he had a Belicheck or even a Norv Tyurner as an OC " Turner has turned the unbelievably erratic and mediocre Cam newton into a 68 % passer after years of never sniffing 60%. Ben has never been pushed and as great as he has been imagine a challenged , well schooled and studious Ben. Tomlin has wasted 10 years and counting.

Terry hated Chuck. Chuck made him a winner. I don't know what the balance is. I only know that Tomlin doesn't know how to take a talented team and make them as dominant as they should be.

Don't know about last week, but his main problem in the first half was McDonald's lack of ball protection:wink-new: and second half of this week his main problems were the apparent decision to play without receivers and tight ends:disillusionment:, and the D's inability to get the Ravens O off the field in the 4th quarter.

I like Tomlin. I wouldn't hire him to coach a pro football team or anything like that but he would probably be a good broadcaster or something.

Realistically, the only games the Steelers have a shot at are the Saints, Browns, Chargers and Raiders. With Breeze and Rivers, I see them torching the **** out of that porous secondary. Steelers will suffer a 5 win season at most. I guess the standard is the standard.

I was a Tomlin supporter until some time last season. Now, he has to go. He was given another ultimatum this year about the D and they continue to get worse. And, the D is and has been pretty darn healthy this year so that's no excuse. The Rats got easy 4 to 6 yards per rush last night because we only had 2 DL in the game so often. Their RB's got at least 2+ yards after contact on every run. And, then you have our pass rush, which was pretty much non-existent. No blitzes and rushing only 3 or 4 guys with 2 DL much of the time. They just can't seem to figure out that how they are playing is a big reason why they are so bad. And, watch the replay. I was shocked at how many times our guys were running on and off the field late and running back and forth on the field because they were in the wrong positions. That **** is just unacceptable. They need better coaches/teachers on D as this has been going on and getting worse since LeBeau left.

Saints??! You kidding me?? ****, they might just score 60 on this defense!

TEAM, is not a individual player. No team would suffer like the STEELERS did if one player went down. Shazier got hurt and this team collapsed. ONE individual does NOT make a team. Think about this for a moment.......................

The STEELERS are NOT a team but a collection of individuals. Sure there are the team within the team but overall they are a collective bunch of individuals and nurtured along the way by the current coaching staff. TOMLIN does not promote team chemistry, never has and never will. I'm an ameture coach and yet my teams for U10 soccer to adult Women's softball have shown more team chemestry than TOMLIN's teams have shown, especially this year's STEELERS. No individual is bigger than the TEAM yet on the STEELERS we see it all the time, individuals getting away / doing stupid / holding out / hurting team with secondary penalties and all without fear of reprocusion.

The TEAM is lost and NO existing coaching staff is going to bring it back, hell, they can't even see what works on the field and make those adjustments to it but sure can give a ******* great worded interview. FAKE front, total ownership of hot mess, Rooney rule hire as no credentials from the beginning, QWICK SAND. Things could end up a little better but ONLY if the current players bail out the coaching staff as like in the past. This is NOW and the lackadaisical has caught up.

NEW COACH (team coaching NOT our one and only MB Coach) is probably the ONLY true fix but will take this season and next before an update is experienced.

Salute the nation

It is time for Tomlin to go. There are major examples of his ineptitude each week Here are just two from last night

1) The challange of the spot in the third qtr on the the Lamar Jackson third down run- wasted a TO
2) 12 men on the field penalty in either the third or forth qtr that gave the Ravens 3rd and 4 instead of 3rd and 9- which they converted.

yea that challenge was just awful. He just cant get a grip on when these should be used. 3rd game in row where there was 12 men on field. Nothing ever gets fixed

Umpteen different offensive/defensive coordinators and other coaches, no sign of improvement, suspensions, players causing distractions for the team......What has been the one constant through all of this?

Just sayin.
