Tomlin post game..

I don't know why I need to repeat this, but... Brown has done this after every game in our winning streak. Last week, he even got Tomlin to say something into the video, then his phone was passed around the locker room... This is a non-issue

Bill Belichick isn't worried about videos on 'InstantChat'

Bill Belichick still doesn't know what the names of all your favorite social media sites are, nor does he care.

The New England Patriots head coach was asked on Monday during his weekly interview about Steelers receiver Antonio Brown's Facebook Live video that overheard head coach Mike Tomlin call Belichick's team '********'.

Per usual, he answered that question in his own Belichick-ian way:

"Yeah, as you know I’m not on SnapFace and all that, I don’t really get those,” he said, via WEEI.com. “I’m just really worried about getting our team ready to go. I’m not really too worried about what they put on InstantChat, or whatever it is.”

Tom Brady referenced earlier on Monday that Belichick makes it very clear at the beginning of the season what the rules are for his team on social media. When asked about his policy, Belichick kept to the task at hand which is their AFC title game with the Steelers this upcoming Sunday night.

“We’re really just focused on trying to play well and win this week. The AFC championship game is really what it is about,” he said.

Along with cussing about the Patriots, Tomlin said in the video that New England had a head start on the Steelers because they played the day before. Belichick admits that is out of his control.

“We don’t have anything to do with the schedule. When we’re supposed to be there, that is when we’re there."

I'm over it, lets get on to the business of preparing for the AFCC. The media will continue to try to make this a distraction, its pointless for us here to contribute to that. It was locker room talk, about what I expected it would sound like, I heard nothing insulting to the opposing team. Now they have real business to attend to....

A coach was booked on multiple felonies and we still won. I think we got this covered.

First Porter had all charges dropped, second that really only effected him not the team. What Brown did was selfish. The Pats are already motivated they do not need anything extra to get them going. Also I am sure several players want to keep all that locker room stuff private. I have no problem with what tomlin said and the pats maybe downplaying it, but I guarantee you it will get their juices flowing more. I think they overlooked the Texans a bit and got sloppy. That will not happen again. We have a shot to win the game, but Brown certainly did not make it any easier.

**** it. It's out there. No tip-toeing around Tomlin's real feelings on the subject. Now, go out there and make the whole issue meaningless by preparing the best that you ever have, putting in the film work/study time, having a good week of practice, showing up and playing for each other and then beating some Pats*** ***. That's what I'd be saying if I was Tomlin. That's the message I'd have every coach feeding those guys all week. I mean, why the **** should we worry about the Pats***? Why should we bow down and kiss ***? That sets the wrong tone from the get go. Be defiant. Be hardcore. And be PREPARED to back that **** up.

Just my 2 cents.

Why is everybody so afraid of the Patirots? **** these n----as, man! These ******* don't walk on water. **** them, hit them in the mouth, smash Brady into cleat dust on the way to the SB.

People lose to them because they are afraid of them. We won't be. We're coming after Brady and his candy ***.

Why was Brown ******* around and not listening to Tomlin in the first place?? I have never been in an nfl locker room but it seems to me that when the coach is talking you should shut the **** up and pay attention, even if it was just out of respect. I fear AB is getting a little to full of himself, and its going to bite us in the ***.

Obviously you are not aware of their dominance over us. Seems everytime people spout off the same stuff about how vulnerable they are and this and that then they go hang 40 points on us. We can definitely win the game and should not fear them, but some people seem to need a touch of reality. What I do like about the steelers this year is the D seems to have an attitude. Last couple years the intensity was not there. I think it may be Harrison leading by example along with guys like Dupree and Davis. Our offense is way too inconsistent for even the biggest homer to honestly believe we will go out there and put up 35-40 points. We are capable of it sure, but our talent doesnt always translate to points.

You've hit the nail on the head. This is all occurring while Tomlin is talking. When you watch the video, you see he's "holding court" with other players (including Eli Rogers, Le'veon Bell, and others). It may be "over" for some here, but I assure you it's not over yet. He's pretty much forced Tomlin's hand. He's created a watershed moment for the team.

Watching the video made me cringe... just because it was AB being completely self absorbed and ignoring his coach and QB when they gave their postgame talk. Could care less about his preening for the camera and his sucking his teammates into his little world. I'm thinking that's only a sign of things to come in the social media age.

Tomlin's speech? Non-issue.
Worried about Patriots response? Hardly.

You're the one who don't seem to know his history. That team has never played this team. Not these linebackers, not this secondary, not these Bs.

So **** them. They ain't seen this squad yet, but they're bout to.

We have played them when we had some of the best defenses in the league w/ arguably the best D coordinator and got torched. No team is ever completely the same, but since 1998 we are 3-10. At home since 2002 the Pats have scored 30, 34, 33, 55, 28 (180), while we have scored, 14, 13, 10, 31, 21 (89). That is being outscored 180-89. Also there is this
"BOSTON (CBS) — Tom Brady may well be the greatest quarterback in the history of football. And a case could be made that he’s been at his absolute best when he’s playing against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Historically, Brady has owned the Steelers. That’s been reflected in the Patriots’ record in those games (7-2 in the regular season, 2-0 in the playoffs) and in Brady’s individual statistics.

In those nine regular-season games, dating back to the 2001 AFC Championship Game, here’s what Brady’s done against the Steelers:

238-for-342 (69.6 percent)
2,826 yards
24 touchdowns
3 interceptions
114.2 passer rating
8.26 yards per attempt

And here’s how that looks when broken down on a per-game scale:

26-for-38 (69.6 percent)
314 yards
2.67 touchdowns
0.34 interceptions

The Steelers haven’t intercepted Brady since 2005. Since then, Brady has thrown 19 touchdowns vs. Pittsburgh.

Brady left the 2001 AFC Championship Game after taking a low hit from Lee Flowers. So, in the game-and-a-half that Brady has played in the postseason in Pittsburgh, here are his stats:

26-for-39
322 yards
2 touchdowns
0 interceptions

Considering the game this weekend will be in Foxboro, let’s take it a step further and isolate just Brady’s games against Pittsburgh when the games are played in Foxboro. These are his stats from the Steelers’ visits in 2002, 2007, 2013 and 2015:

109-for-154 (70.8 percent)
1,413 yards (353 yards per game)
15 touchdowns
0 interceptions

Suffice it to say, the Patriots’ quarterback is causing all sorts of consternation in the coaches’ offices in Pittsburgh right about now.

Of course, most of the damage Brady inflicted on the Steelers came when Dick LeBeau was in charge of the defense from 2004-14. LeBeau’s defenses were notorious for being unable to adapt to what Brady and the Patriots were doing, giving Brady a clear path for dominance all too often. The Steelers were the best team in the NFL in 2004, finishing with a 15-1 record and beating the Patriots by 14 points during the regular season. But when given a chance to face that same defense in the playoffs at Heinz Field, Brady worked an efficient 207-yard, two-touchdown performance in a 41-27 blowout victory for New England.

Since the Steelers parted ways with LeBeau following the 2014 season, though, the results have been much of the same for Pittsburgh. With Keith Butler in charge for the Steelers’ most recent two meetings with the Patriots (one in Pittsburgh, one in New England), Brady has gone 44-for-58 (75.9 percent), 510 yards, six touchdowns and zero interceptions. The Patriots have outscored the Steelers 55-37 and won both games.

In terms of passer rating, Brady’s 114.2 mark against Pittsburgh is the second-highest of any opponent in his career, though his 115.7 rating vs. the Atlanta Falcons came in just four games.

Obviously, when the game kicks off on Sunday evening at Gillette Stadium, Brady’s accomplishments from January 2002 through October 2016 won’t mean much. But there’s no doubt that history is favoring Brady rather strongly as the Patriots ready for the Steelers’ visit this weekend."

So once again we are capable of winning, but to denounce the pats success against us is a mistake.

I just hope we get to see Brady warming up on the sideline a bunch of times....

Drive me crazy when they do that every damn time the opposing team scores....Camera goes right the Brady...

"Oh look out now, he is pissed and throwing the football.."

God I hate that fake assed team.

I hope the Patriots are all fired up over the video. I hope they think about it a lot. We'll be worried about them X's and O's... let them focus on the bulletin board ****, that stuff plays no factor on the field.

Yeah that **** is a joke. Oh look they made Tom mad...ewww. Well **** Tom and his anger. They have nothing that can't be stopped. It's nothing that a can of focused relentless cerebral violence can't fix. Just keep the radio use deceptive and don't say **** in the locker room because you can rest assured they have it bugged. This is an organization with absolutely no respect for fair play. The end justifies the means. This is a wonderful opportunity to put an end to this bs. Ben needs to step up and shine no matter what they throw at him. Slay this dragon.

I think this whole thing is stupid. Winner of this game goes to the SB. Something tells me the reward for winning this game will affect how NE plays far more than this retarded video. If the Patriots need that video to get up for this game, God help them.

late in the 4th quarter, Belichick will pull the video out on his Samsung Galaxy tablet, show it to his team for some emotional upswing, and use that as fuel to march 99.5 yards down the field to score a late touchdown, then go for two to show us how brilliant the P*triots are

and still lose, 35-11.

I hope so but while we got to 3 SB's in 6 years, none of those times did we face the Pats**** in the playoffs. It boils down to we always do a **** job of defending short and medium passes, which is what Br*dy does best.

The worst, most excruciating punishment Tomlin could dole out for AB, more than any $$ amount of fine or length of suspension, would be to take away his cell phone.

You know how cops have "backup guns"? I bet Brown has a couple of "backup phones."

I know for a fact I have watched SEVERAL AB Facebook Live videos from the locker room. Vince Williams usually takes his phone and walks around the locker room clowning around with teammates and even Tomlin. If this was an issue it would have already been handled. I don't think however that he has broadcast a speech by the coach. To me that's the part of this that is a definite no go. Yes cameras from NFLN are in the locker room and capture this stuff. The media likes to blow stuff out of proportion and create stories for clicks. The only focus this week is beating those ********

This! Haley's play calling needs to be wise. Stick with what works best until they prove they can stop it.

Pats**** D is averaging like 15.3 ppg allowed, lowest in the league, so that does not inspire confidence when we have trouble scoring on the road anyway.

Why is there no "New England A**holes" logo or meme available yet?

Well look at the list of QBs they've played this year and you'll see why they have such good numbers lol..

This past "history" has as much relevance as Andy Reid's 19-2 (now 19-3) record coming off a bye. Or as much relevance as the beatdown that the Miami Dolphins put on us in October. Our team (and the Pats) are substantially different than they were 2.5 months ago...what happened 2, 3, or 5+ years ago means less than nothing. We played them in game 1 last season and Tom Brady picked on Cortez Allen and Terrance Garvin for ***** sake. We're in trouble if they see much action on D on Sunday...
