Tomlin post game..

Add to the list of Tomlin's duties as HC:

Take attendance after every game to make sure everyone is off their phones and present. After all, he's dealing with grown men.

Its done, its been put out for the public. Tomlin will address it with Antonio and discipline him accordingly im certain. Maybe keep him on the sideline the first series of the game. Who knows.

But as for the Patriots, we will come for them. I want them to know this. We can put it on a bulletin board, Twitter, FB, message in a bottle, courier service, chalk graffiti outside Gillette or message via Paul Revere. I don't give a ****, but they should know Sunday evening we have a date for battle and we wont plan on losing. If their team aint ready we will emerge with their heads in our clutches. It was never about their feelings or emotions stirred by what might have been said. They are in our path....they wont move, so we bowl em over. Im sure Tomlin already conveyed that sentiment to the troops.

Lets just go cut some heads and stuff em in bags and take what rightfully belongs to us. 1 path to 7 trekked by 53 warriors. "You'on' none" ~~ J Porter

Yeahhhhhh!

Unleash hell!!!!!.......oh wait.....

The problem with the whole thing is if you lose you come out looking like jackasses.

And yes that rests solely on Brown.

The worst, most excruciating punishment Tomlin could dole out for AB, more than any $$ amount of fine or length of suspension, would be to take away his cell phone.

Yeah I'm not sitting AB for a series next week. No ****** way. I'd make him spend the off season drafting team rules for social media. As far as I'm concerned this is something where the players are going to have to police themselves. Come up with their own code of conduct and consequences for breaking it.

Hah, agreed. Or maybe replace his existing phone with this:

Go ahead and stream on that phone, AB.

Well, the pats know how the Steelers feel about them now. If I'm Tomlin no need to apologize to the politcal correct fans of the league. Go out next week and have them Steelers prepared to put an *** whoopin on those cheats
Yeah I'm OK with wearing the black hat. The Raiders wore it to a few championships. They can be the "good guy" that everyone hates cause they cheat. Just back it up and walk out saying you beat those ********.

PITTSBURGH -- Steelers players don't have a problem with Mike Tomlin's message to the team Sunday night, which came to light through Antonio Brown's Facebook Live feed.

They also don't consider it a distraction for this week's AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots, although some had hoped Tomlin's message would remain private.

Brown video shows Tomlin's disdain for Patriots
Antonio Brown posted a 17-minute video on Facebook from the Steelers' locker room that captured the voice of Mike Tomlin telling the team to "keep a low profile" as it prepares for the Patriots.
Brown could be fined for violating the league's social media policy, a league official told ESPN's Adam Schefter. The policy prohibits players and coaches from posting messages on any social media platform 90 minutes before kickoff and until after postgame locker room interviews. Former Cincinnati Bengals wide receivers Chad Ochocinco ($25,000 fine) and Terrell Owens ($5,000 fine) and then-Baltimore Ravens offensive tackle Michael Oher ($5,000 fine) all received penalties for violations of the policy in 2010, the first year it was enforced.

Brown's 17-minute broadcast caught Tomlin saying the Steelers "spotted these a--h---- a day and a half" of preparation. The video was removed from Brown's Facebook page on Monday morning.

"As far as I'm concerned, everybody in this league is an a--h---, in my opinion," guard Ramon Foster told reporters. "You have to be to play this sport. Coaches don't become head coaches by being nice guys."

Brown's feed gave a rare glimpse into an authentic postgame locker room scene, but the camera kept rolling as Tomlin addressed his team. He told them to get ready quickly because "we're going to touch down at 4 o'clock in the f---ing morning" as a result of the divisional-round matchup with Kansas City being moved to 8:20 p.m. Sunday. The Patriots beat the Houston Texans on Saturday night.

"We'll be ready for their a--. But you ain't got to tell them we're coming," Tomlin said. "Keep a low profile, and let's get ready to ball like this up again here in a few days and be right back at it. That's our story."

"As far as I'm concerned, everybody in this league is an a--h---. You have to be to play this sport. Coaches don't become head coaches by being nice guys."

Ramon Foster, on Mike Tomlin's postgame comments
Tomlin's comments about the Patriots were considered benign. Foster said the moment was "a bunch of guys having fun, having locker room talk and enjoying themselves," adding Tomlin's message was only "for us."

One Steelers player said there isn't an official policy regarding the filming of the postgame locker room session with a cellphone, but there will probably be one now. Coach Mike Tomlin will address the media Tuesday at noon.

"I think there are some things that are kind of sacred," long-snapper Greg Warren said. "I personally like to keep some of that stuff private. AB is AB. He can do what he wants to do. We love AB. He's a heckuva player. We will rally around him, and whatever he needs, we will help give it to him. But personally, I like some of that stuff sacred. But this is a changing world, a changing environment. I can't be some old guy stuck under a rock."

Whether the Patriots use Tomlin's message as bulletin-board material won't affect the preparation of both teams, safety Robert Golden said.

"This is the AFC championship," he said. "We're gonna give them our best game no matter what words were said. We're trying to get to the Super Bowl; they are trying to get to the Super Bowl."

That ************ is a proven cheater. Don't ever forget that. And as long as that stench of cheating hangs over that man and that franchise, there will always be questions to the level of greatness he's achieved. He won **** for games when he was in Cleveland and NY. Hes also a sore losing ********** too (as Dungy can attest)

Dungy also has high praise for him calling him a genius.

The sad reality of it is if they win #5 no one outside of Pittsburgh or San Fran. is going to care about Noll/Bradshaw or Walsh/Montana.

What will be remembered is that he and Brady won more SB's than anyone else, and in the era of free agency. He had to constantly pick close to last or last in the draft yet almost always picked out players that worked out very well in his system.

The introduction of free agency in 1992 was supposed to prevent another dynasty from being born....yet here we are on the cusp of witnessing the greatest one ever.

The thing about Belichick is that HE IS AN ******* , a sociopath I'm sure.
Yet to deny his genius is to be dishonest because you feel it knocks our team down a peg or two.

You can contemplate how much the cheating helped them, and even the more chicken **** cop out that they are still doing it.....no they're not. Anyone with even a vague clue as to what it would cost the NFL in legitimacy, and to allow that to continue will find it laughable. They are THAT GOOD, but they can be beaten, anyone can.

They are weaker now than at other points in their run. Brady especially.

This is the chance for the Steelers to get revenge and at the same time prevent the Pats from becoming the Yankees of the NFL.

Yeah, they gotta start doing that Better Call Saul thing where everyone turns in their electronics when they enter the facility. It would suck, but it would work...

So, AB's a jerk for telling us what we already know? The Pats are ******** AND *******. **** them, **** the Pats, **** their cheating ways, **** their cheater of a coach, **** Tom Brady, and **** their fans.

This is our year, and we're closing the book on Brady's story this weekend!

My dad always called me an *******.... its a term of endearment... I never realized Tomlin had affection for the Patriots.

**** em. Bring it.

Hmm, I would have expected MR HEAD COACH MICHAEL VINCENT LOMBARDI TOMLIN would just be standing around picking his nose. Sounds like he was a coach engaging the players, dare I say challenging them?!

Commandeering them, one would suggest.

I thought it was cool to get a behind-the-scenes look at the locker room after the game and it isn't the first time AB did this. He was on last week (not sure of the timing compared to this week) and Mike Tomlin even made an appearance. However, although cool, it's kind of weird the first thing a guy has on his mind after a huge win is to put himself on camera.

Zero issues with what Tomlin had to say, I loved it. I am more disappointed that Brown isn't enough of a team guy to be in the center of the huddle with his head coach and quarterback to actually listen to what they have to say.

Apparently the NFL also has a social media policy that say players can't post anything 90 minutes prior to kickoff through post-game interviews. Not sure if they actually enforce that rule and if they do, Brown certainly would know about it.

Brown, shold his true self. A SPOILED KID. HE SHOWED NO RESPECT FOR THE MONEY HE MAKES, NO RESPECT FOR Steeler name, no respect for his team mates and no respect for his coaches. His me attitude gets no pass this time no matter his talents on the field. Grow up, you have been talked to by Tomlin as well as Ben and you ignore them fact you have won nothing yet.

Very simple solution. You post unauthorized social media from the facilties/dressing room we take your phone and break it. And then your phone is banned from both. We see it we break it. That's what we applied to our once a year golf trip insano drinkfest.

This won't effect this game's outcome but going foreword when can we expect bell and brown to get over themselves? Bell just takes a few games off every season no big deal brown runs around like a little schoolgirl "look at me!! Loook at meeee!!!! Weeeeee!!!! " god some of this **** is getting old.

Looks like he will probably be fined for breaking league policy

You can bet the first 20 questions to Tomlin by the press will be about ... THE VIDEO

Antonio Brown video creates problem for player, team

For Steelers receiver Antonio Brown, the far more significant problem arising from his decision to post live video from the locker room after Sunday night’s win over the Chiefs flows from the undoubtedly strong reaction his head coach will have to the maneuver — especially because the video itself includes an admonition from Mike Tomlin to be smart on social media. But Brown’s behavior created a pair of other problems, for him and for the Steelers.

Brown violated the league’s social-media policy, which prohibits tweets, live videos, etc. from 90 minutes before kickoff through the conclusion of the post-game media obligations. For that infraction, Brown undoubtedly will be fined.

The broader problem from the team’s perspective is that Brown’s decision to broadcast live video triggers a violation of the league’s TV contracts. The broadcast partners have exclusive rights to video shot in the locker room after the game, and the teams or the league can’t use it for 24 hours.

While it’s unlikely that NBC will make a fuss about it, it’s the kind of practice that teams need to prevent; if unchecked, it eventually could trigger a claim that the deals are being breached.

I don't care about the streaming.

Here's my concern: this was in the locker room. THE LOCKER ROOM. So some kid is watching their favorite player mugging for the camera on Facebook and then some weenie goes bouncing by...

Oh lord, the shitstorm.

The point is the conversation from Tomlin should have stayed in the locker room. Brown simply ****** up. Bad move by him. Will it affect outcome of game?no. Will it be a distraction this week? Yes.
We don't need distractions but clear focus.

A coach was booked on multiple felonies and we still won. I think we got this covered.

This is different. Porter had nothing to do with next weeks opposition. This kind of does. It talks directly about the Pats. We don't need to help them.
Tomlin should be pissed at Brown and call him out on it. This was meant for Steelers only not social tucking media.
