Tomlin Looking ahead to Pats!

He was asked a question and he answered. Do you not think that the coaches don't get tape prepared for future games? This talk about looking ahead is all cliche. Its bullshit. You live in the moment week to week but you have to be aware of who you play on your schedule. Get your ******* panties out of a tizzy and realize every team goes through the same process whether they choose to acknowledge that or not.

"We are giving the Pats bulletin board material"

You know it's coming. I believe this team has it's eyes on the prize, but still acknowledges what is in front of them to get there. You would have to be blind or stupid to think otherwise.

I hope this football team is not overlooking two AFC North rivals the next two weeks.
I think some things you just do not say whether its suppose to be behind the scenes or not.

Agreed, both teams will play us tough. I don't really mind what Tomlin said, but we don't exactly put teams away or roll over teams we should. If we lose to Cincy and Balt, the game the 17th probably doesn't mean a damn thing then.

Not all teams match up evenly. Just because the Rats beat the Packers soundly doesn't mean the Steelers will match up the same across the board. The teams ARE different, you know.

The truth is, the Rats are better suited even for the cheaters. It's just the way it is.

What I like about this year's team is that despite their matchups, they're finding ways to muddle through.

The Steelers and Cheaters are both 9-2, two games up on the field with 5 left, and the media needs to hype what will probably be the most meaningful game in the AFC regular season.
The Jags and the **** aren't very exciting, so we will be hearing about this for 3 weeks.

**** the cheats. **** them and **** them.

**** those *******.

Drink IC, where are you, Bud? Need a post here.

You missed a few things....................**** those whiney *** cheating pricks, cheating ******** who stretch the rules so far there is a blur and they always go with the cheating.
Judge them how ever you want but realize there is no room for cheating fucktards (sorry tards) in my book. I could go on and on but just to be perfectly clear

F-U-C-K the cheating ******** in the *** with a red hot cheater's poker

Salute the nation

These are pro athletes, bulletin board material doesn't mean as much as you think it does. They've owned us for the past decade plus, they don't need any extra incentive. Its us who needs the incentive and maybe that's what coach was trying to do for this team.

Ok I get it it! We’re 9-2 and that’s great.
I’m not trying to be negative but am concerned.
With everyone getting comfy with this 9-2 record it’s
such a very thin line between that 9-2 and perhaps 6-5 record.
Very easily could have dropped the Colts, Lions and Packers games and we would be neck and neck with the Ravins.

I want to see what the next two weeks activity has in store for this team. Bengals and Ravens will be going all out for these games and Tomlin better have them ready or the Pats game won’t really matter.

Whaa, we're 9-2. Winning is the only stat that matters in this league, and the Steelers know how to do that better than all but 1 team in the league. No need to apologize for winning, just win baby!

most people on this site are looking ahead to the Pats. even in the GB game thread, boo-hooing that "Brady is going to tear up this team".

TB, basically, gave the game to the *'s and still had a chance to win at the end. There was another game the *'s were lucky to win. They could, just as easily, be 7-4.

I refuse to let myself look ahead to the Pats. I’m focusing on the Bengals which is the next obstacle in our path.

They beat SD 21-14 at Foxboro and SD was driving late.

Brady will pick on Sensabaugh and Burns all game. We dont have a capable secondary to win . Oh, dont forget about "Personal Foul Mitchell."

Artie Burns is just plain dumb. He does not apparently have a comprehension when asked to cover in zone. He runs all over the field and looks confused. Now, ask Artie to go cover your man and he’s all over it. If he doesn’t have to think he’s ok.

Mike Mitchell was a very poor signing and quite honestly is not very good.
We have to hope and pray that Joe Haden can make it back in time for the playoffs.

MT had better be looking ahead to the Pats*****. Back when Colbert said he didn't draft specific players to beat one team I knew he was full of **** but he couldn't admit it.

OTOH, that faint heavy breathing you hear is coming from Tom Brady up in Foxboro jacking off while watching the Steeler D against the Packers' rookie QB.

Three year vet, but I get what you're saying.

Tomlin is an idiot. Not because of what he said, but because of how the teams is.

Hoping we just win against our own, before we worry about the *pats.

He shouldn't have talked about it publicly, but if you think they don't talk about those dick heads constantly you're kidding yourself. They're the standard until we can beat them. Period.

this is the man that needs to be in the player's ear. Mean Joe is Steeler football!

You mean the same Mean Joe who thought they should cut ties with AB after the locker room incident last year. I actually dont question Tomlins handling of the team. According to most they have one of the most difficult training camps in tge league. I just think that they will get schematically out maneuvered AGAIN. I dont think desire or seriousness will have anything to do with it.

But Belichick can wear a 6 rings sweater after the game yesterday and not a peep.

Ohhhh that Mike Mitchell. Anybody else notice Tomlin mouthing "the mother ****** fell" on the play Sensabaugh got burned on, and Mitchell proceeded to completely whiff on his tackle attempt? The look on his face said it all. Methinks that Mitchell's schtick, and not being able to back it up at all, is getting old with the coaching staff. Unfortunately, Mike Mitchell is too good of a locker room guy to go all Legarrete Blount on us, walk off the field, and then get cut.
