This was 100% the right call. Look, Hodges may have the same results as Rudolph, but with everything that went wrong last game, there is no way Mason isn’t trying to force plays and prove the Browns wrong... it would be a vendetta game that would definitely not help us.
Mason needs to be forced to retake the starting job, work on his footwork and mid range reads. Hodges gets a chance to shine, if he doesn’t then Rudolph comes in with less focus on him...

I do believe they made a good decision here

Hate to say it but we do need a change, just hope if Mason does have what it takes is not demoralized by what has expired the last two weeks.
