Todd Haley

My only complaint was they should've run Bell at the five. Ben audibaled to a pass that wasn't gonna work anyway. Give Lev the rock.

Sent from my SM-G930V using Steeler Nation mobile app

I saw Bell get stuffed several times where the ball was midfield. The Chefs have a pretty good D. As was mentioned before our receivers can't drop passes that touch their hands.

That's all, it doesn't mean anything more than that.
I agree, I'm complaining about the people bitching about completed passes, it was to low, it wasn't in stride.

Eh, a perfect pass in stride is great. Moving the chains is the bottom line. For me, he struggled but we won. If all the other phases click like yesterday and he's on next Sunday we'll beat their ***.

Ben didn't play great but he didn't play bad either. I only had two beefs but they were enormous ones. The pass pass on 2nd and 3rd down at the five on the first drive and the pass on first and goal after the INT....with the way Bell was running i give the Steelers a 80℅ chance at two TDs there. That's another 11 points and it's 29 to 16 on the road in a loud place. That's a very solid win. I don't give a rat's *** if AB was single covered when he threw that pic. They have a great secondary and they have a poor run D.....u ******* run u idiot

If the Niners don't have a new head coach by the end of this week, I'm going to start worrying. Reports say they are "waiting" for the right man.

Hope it ain't Haley.

It's something to see how this offense has evolved since Ben has been here. I doubt he likes handing the ball off at the rate he did it against Kc. The coaches had a mud ball game plan and stuck to it... but seems to me they are going to have to unleash Ben and get him heated up if we are going to beat the pats. The running game and offensive line are true strengths now wasn't that long ago they were weaknesses. Would be nice to see this line just pound the pats to pulp and keep Brady on the sideline... GO STEEELLLLERRRRSSS!!!!!

I wanted Bell to get the ball down there too, but it's funny you read the game thread and we get the ball back up 18-10, we run three straight runs with Bell to kill clock and fans are bitching we are running to much

It's because if whatever playcalling is tried doesn't work, it is apparently the worst call in the history of football.......That's why it is called "Monday Morning Quarterback".....People question everything that didn't work, share what they would have done IF THEY WERE COACH with the world.

Hindsight is always 20/20

This offense has been far more explosive on the score board when our O has been no huddle throwing the ball all over the place and using the running game off of that

**** stats!!! Running the ball helps keep the defense fresh too. I think we have done a good job of mixing it up. We ran alot of no huddle yesterday. Just have to play better

The offense will have to open it up on Sunday. I get the running game/ clock management/ keep the Defense off the field mindset but getting in the end zone (I thought) was the objective ere.

The first series where the Steelers had the ball at the 12, Bell rushes for 8 down to the 4, making it 2nd and 2 from the 4 ...

Bell just gashed the Chiefs for 8. Give it to him 2 more times, and I feel pretty confident it's 7-0 Steelers.

Then, 1st and goal from the 5 ... I don't mind passing on 1st down there. I don't. However, MAKE IT A PLAY ACTION ROLL OUT WHERE BEN EITHER HAS JAMES WIDE OPEN FOR THE TD OR THROWS IT AWAY.

Ben audibled to a back-shoulder throw to AB, who was absolutely blanketed on the play, and the pass winds up being batted into the air. Not good.

Bell converts a 3rd and 9 on a ******* run! Ummm give him the ball Ben.

Take your ego and your 22 QBR out of it. Bell is the guy, he needs the ball. EIther hand it to him, or get him into space and throw him the ball.

I also would like to see ZERO empty back sets with 3 or less yards to go. Also, on the goalline, how about we get AB in motion before a freakin snap, if you want to go to him. They can't cover him across the field. Just like Hill on his first TD. Moneyball!

I don't know where to put this, and I don't want to be like coach and start a stupid thread.

Anyone notice ben on the sideline last night.? Tossle cap, big jacket,, keeping warm.

cut away to the KC sideline, theres multiple players looking at pix or film or whatever on those computer pads. Why is ben not bothering to look at the KC Defense and see how they changed or adjusted to what he is doing ?

Is there nothing to be learned ? They have this technology light years from where they were when players used to look at polaroids or whatever it was,, ****** film.

I don't get it.

Haley helps Ben stay upright and will result in many more years of him playing.

He does look at all that stuff.

Ben checked into passing plays when our line was dominating them. Blame Ben if you want to blame someone

I did 100 times already

Ben wants to be hero, Ben's swollen head checked into whole baggage on flight, Ben benched because helmet could not be worn over ginormous swollen head

This was not the game for heroics, just hand the ball off against the worst run defense in the playoffs

Does he? Cant wait for the cameras to zoom in on that. Been 12 years.

Yeah, 12 years alright. Ben NEVER looks at pictures or studies the defense on the sidelines at all. Do you ever wonder why Terry Bradshaw gives the middle finger to the city of Pittsburgh? Flaming someone while talking out of your *** about something that you know nothing about.
