PITTSBURGH (KDKA)- Todd Haley, Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator, is now a strong candidate for the Miami Dolphins’ head coaching vacancy, according to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports. The Dolphins fired Joe Philbin on October 5 after a 1-3 start. Bill Parcells, Hall of Fame coach, is said to be very-involved in the selection process.

Should we be worried that they take him, or that they don't take him?

I say they take him. Ben calls his own plays anyways. If Ben does go down with an injury down the line. ****, put him as O coordinator for the backups

Yes right now

Jason just tosses shot out. Who knows who will be the HC. Let along their OC.

Is Haley a minority? He looks white.

When is the last time LaCanfora has been right on anything?
Unless he gets offered silly money by someone, I think Toddster knows he has a better gig right where he is.

So who would be the next o.c. If Haley goes? And no, Ben can't be both o.c. and qb.

If it was up to me I'd promote Randy Fichtner.

If Miami were to beat NE the conversation would go differently doncha think?

I first heard it on the Steelers post game radio broadcast, but not sure where they got their info from. I think they would be stupid if they keep playing well with campbell. Maybe they would swap us campbell for tomlin.

At first glance I'm inclined to say let him leave.

But then I'd be concerned that Tomlin would hire the wrong replacement.

And as much as I like Munchak generally, and as an OL coach, I don't think he'd be so hot as OC.

I had heard this rumor earier... I think we will be fine if he goes... Ben can call plays, we just need someone to design them and construct gameplans to target weaknesses. There are always good coordinator prospects out there, and anyone would be nuts to not want to be in this O right now

Randy Fichtner should be our OC if Haley disappears...and i would be fine w it!

Not to worry .. I've heard that Tomlin isn't allowed to hire his own Coordinators anyway.

That's probably a good thing.

Depends on if you place all the blame for a loss on the HC or not. If he's not allowed to hire his own Coordinators, seems some of the blame belongs to whomever IS hiring them. I mean heck, if he didn't hire them, why would they listen to him when it comes to things like scheming to cover the TE?

We have scored less than 20 points in 21 of the last 41 games with Ben starting 36 of them. Haley is doing less with more.
