To all the haters

Then change your personnel, take Harrison off the field and replace him with another DB, or switch to man coverage, use Harrison as a pass rusher, NE used alot of 3wr, te, RB sets, you rush at least 4, that still leaves 7 in coverage vs at the most 5 pass catchers if the TE and RB go out, hell you could even send a 5th or 6th guy sometimes, what a novel concept.

All the talk is about the defense while we never talk about how we never score against them either

Sent from my HTC6535LVW using Steeler Nation mobile app

The last 6 games with Ben weve scored 17, 21, 31, 25, 26, 33. 25 ppg, not enough, but I'm guessing it's well above the average. I think everyone is getting on the defense at least for this game is because they didn't adjust and almost every drive looked the same. The offense moved the ball at times and had 2 dropped TDs another called back when Hamilton ran out of bounds, and another called back on review. And Haley was blasted quite well for that game

Is that vs the Patriots.

Yeah my bad, last 6 vs NE

I can barely bring myself to care anymore.

I stand firmly in the camp wherein this one falls squarely on the shoulders of the coaches. We'll never know if the Steelers could have beaten the P*ts because the coaches really didn't even try. Both offensively and defensively the Steelers coaching staff played right into what the P*ts do best.

Offensively, there were fewer terrible decisions admittedly, but relying on Cobi Hamilton and Sammie Coates in such a big game was clearly a poor choice. Cobi can probably come back and be productive. Coates - I don't know. He may be too scarred at this point. The dude has been the victim of some serious angst.

Bell went out in the first quarter. After that, who else was there to make plays? New England teed off on Brown at that point, and the offense had no choice but to rely on those guys. The game plans sucked, sure, but who else did we have to make plays? I've said in a couple different threads that, contrary to popular belief, the team that we trotted into Foxborough was NOT a more talented team then the cheaters. Especially when you take away our biggest playmaker.
