To all you ******* ******* who didn't post a damn thing during this 9 game winning streak who waited until today to come back and spew your bull ****. **** you all. We lost as a team today to a better team. The game plan sucked and the players sucked. Yes it's super bowl or bust in Pittsburgh but when we were 4-5 no one thought we be even playing today.. I'm disappointed but proud of the resiliency this team displayed to even get here today. **** you ******* you know who you are. You will be the first ones posting in this thread.

I was fooled for a bit that the coaching staff could hang with the likes of the Cheaters.

They can't. Same old ****. Sit back 10 yards and let Brady throw short and carve up a reactive defense that's on it's heels from the start.

Tomlin, Haley and Butler have no ******* clue what their doing. None whatsoever. I'm not hating. I'm pointing out the painfully unprepared gameplan on the part of the Steelers coupled with a pathetic over-reliance on Bell.

How'd THAT work out?

What Wig said, no sense typing it in again

I'm proud of their season. All I asked from today was to go and fire your guns. Their plan was ***. My 15 year old was right. Watch any big game the Pats ever lost and ask yourself if the defensive plan looked anything like today.

I'm not proud of ****. Tomlin sucks. We had more talent on that field than they did, and they kicked our ***.

Butler continued with the 10 yard cushion. The Dline was holding up well in the beginning stages of the game. The same defesnive philosophy of allowing Brady to dink and dunk. I don't get it

Go back to the Giants, Ravens and Broncos success against the Pats, they got in Brady's face and man handled their WR's. The Steelers are capable of doing that too, but give Brady way too much respect

And it was clear after the first 1/4 that they wouldn't run. You have them one dimensional but you do nothing to effect that dimension.

All you super duper fans rejoice if you must. That was embarrassing. At least go out guns blazing with what got you there.

"We weren't tight enough in coverage and didn't apply enough pressure to the middle of the pocket"

How bout you have your ******* DC not play the DB's play 10 yards off and maybe send a blitz up the ******* middle now and then super genius!

****!

That was just a bit more embarrassing than last week.

Time for a regime change. I would love to have new coaches come Feb

It was very embarrassing. Still proud though. Team could of gave up a long time ago. NE just flat owns us.

Just not a good matchup for us. We always had someone else take them out when we got a Super Bowl.

Every team has *some* talent.. today, coaching took away that talent and made the other talent look priceless. Not sure what needs to be done to be better next year. The Patriots aren't that much more talented, anywhere!

I did post, Burns , Cockrell, Coates sucked then and now. The tackling was awful then and tonight. I still say and said then Tomlin has taken away the mystic with this team. I bleed for this team, I drive long ways to see this team, I go to training camp, I despise when we look the way we did tonight showing up with no desire or fight. When I see Brown actions last week with lack of respect for his players, the uniform and the fans it turns my stomach. Tomlin give him a 10000 fine, that says volumes. I respect this team for coming back and winning the division...this was the AFC Championship for Gods sake and they did not show up, yes I am bitching about that but I will do it all over next year.

If you watch all those ******* mega plays to Hogan, he's never even ******* TOUCHED at the l.o.s. they just let him and Edelman do whatever the **** they wanted when they should have put them on their ***.

Counter to that on a replay, they showed Brown literally being tackled by Butler and a safety at about 5-7 yards downfield and Ben had to go to another receiver as Brown had to detangle himself and try to get up.

Our guys are ******* *******.

Not because they can't play that way, but because they're gameplanned to be weak as ****.

This . How many time have they done this to us. The definition of insanity is doing he same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

So far most of these comments, I agree with. This team surpassed MY expectations a couple games ago. I was even pondering whether they could hold it together 'till the end but in the end they were who they were. We still need some pieces. The receivers look set..except poor Coates, he lost his hands somewhere but then he was just a poor man's Bryant anyway.

The defense is young and incomplete. We are missing pieces on every layer plus I have some reservations about a couple coaches.......... that's not counting April.

I have high hopes for next season right now and can't wait to see who we can scoop up in the draft.

Thanks guys....good season

GO STILLERS

I am not a football expert but even lil ole me knows if you give Brady 5, 10, 15 seconds to throw he will burn you every. *******. time. The world was screaming for pressure on Brady all game but it fell on deaf ears. I also know you don't try and stick with this conservative offense against the number one run D in the league even after your number one back goes out. I saw glimmers of what could have been in the last few minutes...or maybe that's just because it was garbage time. I certainly think it was WAY past time to give up on turtle ball if we had any chance of winning.

Not an expert but I think this team was incredible poorly coached and game-planned for this game.

The Steelers struggle with quick wideouts cause they do not press. Press coverage and keep a safety back. The 3 lineman on this team are capable of pressure, but the Steelers like to continue to run a zone blitz type scheme. It works against some teams and some teams if you get the ball out quick enough--- well the pats are an example

The signs were there in the beginning of the game as well. The Steelers played too conservative throughout once they fell behind

Like I said in the game thread, who did we beat this year? in the regular season we beat the giants, and the chiefs. we played 6 teams with a winning record (Washington was 8/7/1) and we lost to three of them. we played 5 plaoff teams in the regular season and lost 3 of them.

With the talent on this team we should have been playing this game at home. coaching sucked and we made the playoffs in spite of coaching not because of it..
