It is simpler than that. The RB has to be able to block for the QB, no one else is. He was a liability at that in camp and practice. Until he gets that part fixed he won’t see the field much.

If he can't block satisfactorily, why did they draft him.?

You don't need to pick up a blitz on a run play, Use him as a RB 1st. Get some snaps in.............. but scheming is a weakness on this team.

Then why the **** was he even drafted in the third round to begin with? They have to be better in evaluating these players before drafting them.
Your intentions were to sign Rodgers this past off season and you’re drafting a kid who cant block.
There’s more to a rb than just running with the ball. He has to be able to block and help protect his QB.
Just another glaring issue with the Mikey T. controlled Steelers.
 
Gotta cut Johnson some slack as a rookie. Majority of rookie RB this class has been disappointing.
Dolphins had it if not for Tua. looks like they may have a late rd steal in Gordon
 
I had an FOP meeting so I only caught the very end but I will say the hot wing challenge at the end was funny as hell.
