Pretty amazing what Mac Jones was able to do against the Rams without SF's top three receivers.San Fran may run the most QB friendly offense in the league.

Man, that was some game. Best Thursday nighter in quite some time
Plus no George Kittle. Who is very good……when not injured.Pretty amazing what Mac Jones was able to do against the Rams without SF's top three receivers.
Jones looked unreal in the first half. In the second not the same guy. Its amazing to see coaçhing at that level. Credit Mcvay for making the proper adjustments. Two top tier coaches and offenses. The 49ers have been thè epitome of next man up for years. Take away the finest choke job sb ever shanahan would be near the top of my list for a head coach. He walks the next man up walk Mike T is always talking about. There is not a more injury riddled offense in the league and the guy doesn't miss a beat!SF could have a QB controversy on their hands if Jones plays better their next game. He played better than I expected without their best skill players.
Kyle knows how to get the best of the QBs he picks (mostly). It wouldn't be too shocking if he coaches Jones up some more and Taylors his game plan to him-and he gets at least Pearsall and Kittle back. This is a playoff team for the NFC for sureJones looked unreal in the first half. In the second not the same guy. Its amazing to see coaçhing at that level. Plug warren into either of these offenses and he's easily top10 Rb.
When Brock Purdy was in his second season, there was this stat tracking throws to wrs that were wide open with no defender within a certain amount of yards and another where the first read the qb made was open....and in both cases, purdy was like light years ahead of any other qb.. just like his predecessor Jimmy Garappalo had been. The offense just needs a qb that follows directions. A guy like Trey Lance that was trying to force plays and ad lib wont work there. They are actually best utilized without a real franchise guy. They really do just need a system guy. Its a very well designed OffensePretty amazing what Mac Jones was able to do against the Rams without SF's top three receivers.

So last night Shanahan changed the 49ers offensive scheme because he had to tailor it to the weapons he had available like Mac Jones and some of the receivers. Creating new plays that worked into their strengths. The result was a win. It's amazing when you have a coach that makes adjustments.
Wish our HC would start doing things like this.![]()
