Steelers fans, take a second to remember this date in the history books. Most of us had our eyes glued to the television screens and some of us lucky enough to be in Detroit, Michigan. Steeler Nation permeated throughout Ford Field, almost making it look like a standard home game in Pittsburgh. The 40th anniversary […]

****, I miss Bettis so much. Good old times.

You should also watch "A Football Life: Bill Cowher".

They played the radio call off the game on SNR radio the other night, still gives me chills. I remember running from my kitchen to the tv chasing Parker on his TD run.

That was a sweet TD run by Parker but Randle El had a pretty good pass option as well. LOVED it and only negative was the walrus and what he did to entice the fans POST SB. Biggest winers ever

That sweet titty run was a SB record though. A thing of beauty.

After the super bowl, someone sold bottles with the label of Seattle Whiners on it. Team logo and all. Now that's a collector's item!

Randel El to Ward! Parker's 75-yard run! Sweet memories. Another critical play of the game which is seldom talked about was Ward's shoestring catch, which converted a first down and a score.

Randel el but yeah pretty awesome stuff

I remember Steeler nation being so incredibly happy we finally had a true franchise qb. Big Ben in his second year- what a great time to be a Steeler fan. just knowing we would be contenders for years to come!!

Very true, back then we had a great coach looking for a franchise QB, now we have a franchise QB looking for a great coach.

The shoe string catch didn't result in a score I didn't think. I think on the EL to Ward TD drive, Ben under pressure threw a back handed pass for a completion. The big play in the first TD for us that is seldom talked about is Ben scrambling out of the pocket buying time and converting a 3rd and 28 to Ward to set up the first TD, but it's more fun to just ***** about QB rating.

I also liked how JOEY big talked Jeramy Stevens the week or so before the game. Had Stevens so scared he short armed a few drops. Stevens was more worried about getting hit than getting the catch....................
