#92 has been patient and buying his time. Now he is fed up and so am I. We have waited long enough and it is now time to uncage the beast and unleash old man Silverback upon Alex Smith and the Chiefs. I, for one, want to see what Deebo has to show everyone who calls him too old to play at a high level.

I bet he gets at least two sacks if put in Sunday.

What say you?

It's not like the guys they're trotting out there are getting sacks or stuffing the run.
I said as much on a well-known Pittsburgh sports FB page, that they're back to starting newer guys hoping they do something good so it doesn't look like the front office made another draft mistake.
Dupree = Jones = Worilds
I know Deebo plays the other side from Dupree but you can't tell me he doesn't know the D well enough to make the switch.
Do I think Tombert would keep Deebo out so Dupree doesn't look like a bust, at a risk of losing some games?
Absolutely. They've done it before.

Fine, move Watt to Durpee's spot. On a team known for having great LB's for 40 years Tombert has sure had a lot of swing and misses in the draft.
 
I don't understand not dressing him especially against a run heavy team. Why sign him if you are going to not even activate him. They will play him next game and have him drop into coverage 90% of the time
 
No one has to come off the field. Just put Deebo in where they are already playing Chicklo and Moats. At least Chicklo is getting snaps in every game. Not sure about Moats.
 
I think silverback would have made a difference in these last few run oriented games. His attitude / leadership / etc would have been a huge plus. If you look a little closer you will find the "D" hasn't played that bad and the size of Impact DEBO would make would still be limited. His game just isn't what it use to be especially if he had to drop into coverage often. Does his impact bring more than Bud Dupree's play, I don't think it will so sub packages is where he would be playing and still at that, I'd take his dressing for ALL games. Give him a chance to spark ignite an allready good defense.

Yeah, I doubt he has the speed to cover passes but he can still rush and play run defense. For sure I'd put him in on some running plays.
