Three ways Claypool can transform the offense.

Hoot did you not know claypool was tall and fast ? Wait,,, Ben likes that? Oh ! I thought Ben wanted slow midgets for receivers. " Claypool can be one of the best blocking receivers in football. " I think he could be one of the best route runners we've seen.! ~ see what I did there?
Ultimately he gets to his salary cap mantra and getting rid of juju. The rest of it was little girl takes.
Pretty much a less of a regurgitation that many spoke of when he was drafted and even leading up to the draft. He highlighted each derp like it was earth chattering. His way around avoiding what one mod told him about font usage. Sure he did a decent mask job that fooled a few posters I give him a tiny miniscule credit for that. It would even be meh if it wasn't his intention 99 percent of the time. But make no mistakes about it cooch likes him some coach and diarrhea will splatter post to post thread to thread in showing you just that.

We're slowly going to see Claypool get more and more opportunities as he continues to get comfortable in the offense. Early on, let him be a one- or two-trick pony because he does a couple of things very well already. The Steelers have a diverse set of receiving options and they can afford to allow Claypool to primarily be a big-play threat throughout the first half of the year.

Most trick pony's usually just do one thing right. He can block decently,. do special teams decently,, and then there is his deep threat capability..I am not even sure I would throw that label on the guy. As he isn't the norm for sure...

nah, he is not the norm for sure. Guy is a baller - we got us a stud. Just keep feeding a bit more each week and let him feast as he learns.

I'm not labeling him that, just saying he's already very good at a couple of things...getting deep and using his physical superiority on the sideline. They don't need him to run the full route tree Week 3-6 to be highly effective.

Been waiting for you to GFY for a long time tool. I call you as I see you. Far as what you call you call them as youtube calls them, or Walter football calls them, or whatever other site you steal from calls them.

Spend your loser life looking for plagiarism, these are my thoughts alone. YKSAF! It must really bother you that I am here. I laugh in your low IQ face. You always start these negative threads, others notice here.

Yeah and you said he was going to be a 3rd round pick. I said he had first round tools. No surprises here who was correct.

You calling any one a loser is classic you are the classic example of a loser.

.I start negative threads? you are confused you started the thread.

..I. don't need to look for plagiarism you were caught doing it multiple times.

Negative like you are against players and coaches constantly? you are still confused.....

Others take notice and call you out constantly for being a dipshit, again you are confused.

What is YKSAF?

There ya go I knew you couldn't help yourself, pimp yourself. I don't think I ever said he couldn't be a first rounder or a second rounder.

Oh I guessed and was off a round?

what horror. GFY idiot.

Hi all..

Im proposing that we eliminate the often used and Steeler Nation affectionate phrase of "go **** yourself", with the acronym "GFY"..

Much more user friendly and time efficient....
Me and my buddies use it our our group text thread...and its a value added addition to our conversations!

go **** yourself :th_balls:

I love Claypool's game as well, but if JuJu can help get us to the promised land THIS YEAR, then he stays. Period.

I would hope he has a rookie and sophomore Martavis Bryant type production, without the drama. He does show great maturity, and looks to be a superb gunner on ST. Can’t wait to see him reach his potential.

Seems to me he is a bigger more talented version of Hines with his love of the game and lunch pail mentality.

If he can squeeze every drop of talent out like Hines did we just may have something beyond our wildest of expectations.

GFY could be interpreted as Good For You though lol

Whats funny is that GFY is not really an acronym if you can't pronounce it, it's merely an abbreviation.. Acronym ...an abbreviation formed from the initial letters of other words and pronounced as a word as are.. synonyms, antonyms, ****nyms .

Whats funny is that you will find sites that will wrongly list abbreviations as acronyms. TGIF for example is not really an acronym.

SCUBA is an acronym...Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus.
LASER....Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation
AIDS...Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome
NASA

That is my 2 cents on Chase Claypool.lol

No, I was showing the board you don't know what you are talking about. There was a Claypool thread before he was drafted. I said 1st round tools, you said 3rd round. He's playing like a top 10 pick right now.

There has been some talk about acronyms, YKSAF! Try to figure that one out. Also, bad news for you, I have more free time to post. Since the mods allow your behavior on my posts, I just might offer the the same a bit more towards yours.

Just guessing...but I believe that would be considered an abbreviation and not an acronym?

Someone recently learnt me dat... :)

Sounds like bad news for the entire board, in other news everyone's windows will be spotless.

This rookie is very impressive, and I think he can transform our offense in three key areas. A clear upgrade and better than anyone we had in 2018 and 2019 in the following areas.

1 ) He's the big deep receiver the team has lacked since M. Bryant could pass a drug test. We saw this in his second pro game, where he just blew by the cornerback and took a deep pass the distance for 84 yards, which was the key play in the game. Claypool really makes the Steelers dangerous on the 7, 8 and 9 routes. A.K.A. The Deep Corner, Deep Post, and Go routes.

2 ) Sideline and jump balls. These are not easy plays to covert, but they are also hard plays to stop. Claypool's height 6'4" 1/2, combined with long arms, and leaping ability of 40 1/2" allows him to dominate these type of plays. We saw this in game 1 vs. the Giants, with a leaping sideline catch. IMO Claypool is the only player the Steelers, have that would have converted that play.

3 ) As an Edge or Screen Blocker, Claypool is a beast of a blocker, perhaps not quite the collision blocker as Hines Ward was, but he clearly uses his size and weight advantage and does it with technique. In my opinion, Claypool can be one of the best 10 wide receiver blockers in football. We can see this on-screen passes. If we ever get a faster back, this type of blocking will pay dividends on off-tackle runs, pitch plays, or sweeps. Claypool has 30-35 pound on most DB's.

With a little practice, at his size he's going to be a threat on hitch and comeback routes too. I also think Claypool with his size and speed would be a killer on play action, that is if the Steelers actually call it. Currently, he's 5 for 5 on targets. In the next two games I want to see 10 targets thown his way, I don't care if its at the expense of Washington or Ju-Ju, who's dinged up...again.

And speaking of Ju-Ju, we can not afford to re-sign him next year. He's going to leave as a free agent, meaning the best we will get is a 3rd round comp pick ( Around pick #100 overall ). A 4th round comp pick is not out of the queison either ( Around pick #142 ). If Claypool continues to shine, and a WR goes down from another team, I would be okay with trading Ju-Ju for a 2nd round pick to get the best possible value for him.

This is about as deep of analysis as studying the ph level of piss in the kiddie pool.

This is completely superficial and offers nothing new. Why start a new topic? Oh, the big fast WR is different than our other WRs and can make jump catches? No f'n ****.
