Some of the Super Bowl 40 Steelers players and coaches. Think about how your life has changed since seeing this team in 2005. By the way,I’m wondering if Dick Lebeau can hang out for the next couple of weeks…

I love to have even the current Dick LeBeau as the DC and a stick up tom Lin’s asZ.

Salute the nation

Hampton looks good.

The photo confirms that Ben Roethlisberger is just a very large human being.

What a great time to be a Steeler fan.
A guy that you knew was a franchise Qb in his 2nd year.
And Troy in his 3rd year as the qb on Def.
Not to mention Cowher and Lebuea

It doesn't feel like that long! This group epitomized team. Too bad Cowher couldn't stay for the picture. There was no way the current team couldn't put a show with these guys in attendance.

Not pictured, Sheetz paper towel dispenser
We would pass that very Sheetz on the way to my (late) in-laws' house. I created a location on Facebook called the "Jeff Reed Memorial Sheetz" and I'd check in.

Aaron smith
Now he was an under rated guy
I can’t believe it’s been 20 years
Doesn't seem that long ago that I went to Dick's Sporting Goods with my teenage daughter at midnight to get SB XL t-shirts and hats, which I still have.
She is now married and my granddaughter is in the second grade.

Surprised that Deebo isn't there. He still lives here.

Ike still has that “ I can’t believe I dropped that “ look on his face. Just kidding he was a good DB.
No Hines,Heath,Fast Willie,Antwaan,James Harrison. Look at Jerome shoulder to shoulder. No wonder DB’s never wanted to take him down.

Faneca runs marathons now.
Oh no kidding? I didn’t know that. Very cool. He’s been a stand up dude since day one. I used to subscribe to Steelers Digest and when he was drafted it was either him or his dad wrote in to the fans comment section and said something about being excited to be in Pittsburgh. A true Steeler thru and thru.

I always thought one fair criticism of Cowher was that if he would have done some level of load management of Bettis and had him at say 90% for the playoffs instead of 70%. They would have had another Lombardi. With that defense and a fresher Bussy. I dont know.

My take is that Cowher's teams faced the Pats******* in the AFCCG twice at the peak of Spygate and their signal stealing.
When the Steelers were getting to 3 SB's in 6 years under both Chin and Shades, at no time did they face the Pats****** in the playoffs.
