when does football season start

In the Day Room, how do they decide which game to watch, if Barney is on at the same time?

I am gonna say this one more time: Instead of funding a moron league in Europe (which lost big $ and did nothing to increase interest in the NFL overseas) the NFL should start a minor league, that would be played in medium sized US cities, to be played in spring and summer, that would NOT lose $ and would act as a farm league, PLUS we'd have something to watch come spring and summer.

Towns like San Antonio, Birmingham, Orlando, etc. would eat it up. Why not? And a league like that, with NFL backing, would probably make $, and provide a farm league AND give us something to watch come Spring and Summer.

They could almost set up something like baseball has and wouldn't even really need to "start up" a new league. They could affiliate with existing indoor teams and/or the CFL. Maybe making CFL line AAA, Arena like AA and leagues like the IFL (where my 9 time champion Sioux Falls Storm plays) like A level.

I know there are some issues with style of play, rules, when the seasons are started etc. but anything would be better than what the NFL has now for developing players: NOTHING.
