The Ravens will be desperate and always play us tough. 0-4 and you are pretty much done done.

I hope Haley calls the game like Ron ErhArdt. Run it, safe passing. Some play action. When needed good punting and special teams.

Will Shazier be ready?

Shazier still had a sling on today. Unless that was a smoke screen of sorts, there is no way he is ready this week and maybe not even next week. They need to come clean on what his injury is.

I hate that these pieces of **** always get us when we're hobbled. Makes no sense. We've run out so many 3rd string QBs against the Ravens in the past few years. And last year in the playoffs without Le'Veon. **** them.

Make them prepare for Spence and list Shazier as questionable. Then if he's ready to go the advantage is ours.

Thursday's game will be won or loss by the defense. We need a couple turnovers and we CAN'T turn it over.

While it's nice that the Ratbirds are 0-3 there is no way in hell we win this game and make them 0-4.

I think it's going to be tough (it always is) but I'm not saying we have no chance.

If his shoulder is in a sling, it is NOT a stinger. It's a subluxation or dislocation. The former has him out for a couple weeks, the latter has him out up to 6 weeks.

The home team on a short week is usually a big winner. Losing Ben brings that down but we will have an advantage from that alone.

Agreed. And it's going to be another embarrassing blow out on National TV.

**** the rats...don't care if dog killer has to lead them. if Bell and williams can run the ball down the ratbirds throats, the Steelers will have a shot to win

Our play calling goes to hell when missing a star player. I hope they do not panic and play it pretty simple, but it is going to be a real tough game for us to win.

The Ravens could be 0-15 and they will play us like it's the AFCCG. Like any game against the Ravens, it comes down to who makes the least mistakes. Not having Bell tilted the scales in the PO last year and now w/o Ben, it's going to be a really tough task to give them their fourth straight loss. Is it impossible? No. Am I optimistic? Not so much. Anything can happen. It's why we watch.

did the Steelers even play the patsies last season?
No, last time was 2013 when they laid 52 points and 610 yards of offense on us.

I got to see Charlie Batch throw a career half in Baltimore to beat those tools in Baltimore. CHARLIE ******* BATCH! If he can do it, Vick can do it.

I don't know why I thought that was last year. Guess I thought we get blown out by them on National TV every year.

Vick might not be too bad Thursday night. Hopefully Haley is bright enough to game plan with his roll outs. He is no where near Ben as far as figuring out defenses and not as quick as going through his reads, but he should be ok. I wonder if they activate Tyler Murphy from the practice squad as an emergency #3?. Lord help us if Laundry Jones has to go in.
