He plays better when he is banged up. Even the doufuses on Good Morning Football admit that. The pretty boy Rutgers guy said he should just smash his knee against a bumper on the way into the stadium every game. I've played organized touch football since tackle was done for like the past 30 plus years. I'm 50 in April and gonna play one last year with my sons. Back in the early 2000's I played on a team with an older guy like Ben. When he was 100% healthy -ahhhh he was good. But if he pulled his hammy or something like that (which was a lot), he would just sling it. Ben is just better with throw some dirt on it and make it work.
 
He does seem to get focused when he gets hurt and gets that wounded tiger mentality where he just starts slinging it going for the kill shot.

I agree. He just seems to focus more. I also think Ben has a tendency to be too picky sometimes. Missing the easy throw hoping for something better. While he has definitely improved with that his year he is still a little better when he isn't 100%. The comparables to Ben are Elway and Favre and those guys were very similar when banged up.
