The Official Thread Dedicated to "Trump Winning"

It's not the libs saying that, lol. It's those on the right - the Wall St. Journal editorial board and Lindsey Graham, among others - who have used that in his defense, that Trump is too dumb to commit these crimes.
True, I should have said delusional idiots.

In one breath, Trump is cleverly trampling the Constitution and blah blah blah, because if he was breaking any laws the liberal mob insists upon, the walls would have been closing in the moment they proclaimed it.

Now, he's too dumb to commit any crime.

Poor libs, it must be a miserable existence.

Trump is not 'cleverly' doing anything. He's a bull in a china shop who truly believes he can get away with whatever he chooses to do. He's said so himself, on numerous occasions. The only question is, will the Senate GOP be complicit in his wrongdoing by allowing and enabling it, or will they stand by the Constitution and the American people.

Once again, he isn't guilty of anything illegal, just not doing things the Washington way. There is not one shred of factual evidence supporting a single claim of criminal malfeasance by Trump and there has been direct testimony under oath to that affect.

This is not a criminal proceeding, surely you know that.

. Using the immense power of the office of the _____________ to act solely for the purpose to further his own, personal and political interests. That should be the norm? .

It IS the norm in Washington. And the norm crosses both aisles. What rock have you been living under?

Dude has been playing chess for 3 years with Dems playing checkers. And our country has never been in better shape in my lifetime. What really will make the lefts heads explode when he doubles the amount of black voters this next election.

He didn't say it was a criminal proceeding. He said Trump didn't commit a shred of criminal malfeasance for which they are holding these Impeachment hearings.

Is there anyone in the GOP who is not complicit in Trump's wrongdoing? I mean, for ****'s sake, when does it ever end with these people?

Hunter’s going to OD. Maybe he’ll go to the baby mama hearing but in the unlikely event of a Senate trial that fuckup is going peace out with crack, meth and blow.

Its OK, even if Creepy Uncle Joe is forced to drop out there are plenty other old white people to take his place....

The guy I think who would make the best Prez out of the bunch on the Dem side is hardly in the race, Julian Castro. He'd get my vote, but he's not even getting a spot on the debate stage at this point. I hate the way the system works, that a rich dude like Bloomberg can simply buy his way into the race, whereas a candidate like Kamala Harris has to drop out due to lack of funds. Regardless, since I'm a hand-on-the-bible Never Trumper, I'd vote for a sack of dead batteries, or a lawn chair, if that was the other choice on the ballot. I will vote for Bernie, for Biden, for Warren, for Buttigieg. I'll literally vote for anyone on the ticket at this point. They will have my 100% support.

What crimes exactly?

It's funny to me how Trump supporters love to play dumb. To be fair, you may not be playing. The only commentary from the base is always about the process, about Obama, about Biden himself, or his dumbass son, about the swamp, about all the corruption in the world, about how the congressional hearings aren't fair, about the media, about sore losers...ad absurdum. It's never, ever about defending Trump and his actions. You all get an Oscar for ignoring the elephant in the room. Tremendous job, really, of feigning ignorance of Trump's pattern of behavior and lies, going back three years now.

Swalwell breaks it down in real simple terms. Stewey, maybe even you will be able to wrap your head around this.

Still not a crime. Just because he now happens to be a candidate does not in any way mean he shouldn't have been investigated, in fact I think it was the right thing to do given what we know.

What exactly is it that you want investigated? What did either Joe Biden, then Vice President, or his loser son Hunter do to warrant the laser-like focus & attention of the President of the US, and his henchman lawyer Giuliani? Where is the fire? What is it that Biden, or his son, did in Ukraine that Trump wants so badly to die on the hill on? And B). What is it specifically 'what we know?'

So one of the Constitutional scholars, Pamela Karlan decides is OK to trash the Presidents minor son while evoking laughter from the Dems present at the hearing.

What a class act, spewing hate and still not anything but assumptions from the professor.

OK here are a couple of facts, she's a Democratic activist, and donated about a grand to Elizabeth Warren. So ya, a completely unbiased witness.

What a **** show this has become.

Btw, dipshit Giuliani was here in Budapest yesterday, meeting with some corrupt former Ukranian official. Kid you not. I guess he flew to Ukraine today, to further enthral himself with the Russian mob's Ukranian henchmen. Right when impeachment hearings are underway in DC. It's like a terrible, low budget B movie. But you can't stop watching, you grab some more popcorn and lean back in your chair. For ***** sake, Trump has literally made the best TV reality show ever out of the US presidency.

I wish I would have known. Would have thrown a milkshake - or a rotten egg - at the ************ if I'd seen him around town.

To my point about Trump being a reality TV contrarian:

Mr. Giuliani is using the trip, which has not been previously reported, to help prepare more episodes of a documentary series for a conservative television outlet promoting his pro-Trump, anti-impeachment narrative. His latest moves to advance the theories propounded by the prosecutors amount to an audacious effort to give the president’s supporters new material to undercut the House impeachment proceedings and an eventual Senate trial.

The president's personal lawyer is making the best use of his time filming a documentary tv show in the middle of impeachment hearings. You literally can't make this **** up. We are beyond George Orwell, beyond Monty Python, beyond surrealism and beyond peyote induced hallucinations. Welcome to the underbelly of the Trump presidency. Pull up a chair and enjoy the show.

Independent Senator from Maine, Angus King has kept his eye on the ball from the very beginning. He is a non-partisan who's spoken clearly and truthfully this entire time. This country can use a whole lot more of this.

Trump and his backers in the GOP are literally willing to die on this hill. The cross they carry was handed to them by Vladimir Putin, only to be crucified on American soil. Amazing to see this play out in real time.

GOP embraces a debunked Ukraine conspiracy to defend Trump from impeachment
https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...3aa372-15ea-11ea-8406-df3c54b3253e_story.html

Much of the Republican Party is pressing ahead with debunked claims about Ukraine as they defend President Trump from possible impeachment, embracing Russian-fueled conspiracy theories that seek to cast blame on Kyiv rather than Moscow for interference in the 2016 U.S. election.
<section>
The increasingly aggressive GOP efforts continued Tuesday on Capitol Hill and were amplified throughout conservative media, one day after House Republicans released a 123-page document that insisted that Trump’s handling of Ukraine was founded on “genuine and reasonable” suspicions — despite mounting evidence rejecting that assertion and warning of its consequences.

</section>“I am not,” David Hale, the No. 3 official at the State Department, said Tuesday at a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing, when asked whether he was aware of any evidence of Ukrainian interference in the U.S. presidential election.

Republicans’ promotion of Trump’s Ukraine conspiracy theory is the latest example of their capitulation to him and of the GOP’s rapid transformation on Russia — from a party that for decades celebrated its hawkish stance toward the Kremlin to one that is reluctant to take a hard line and risk Trump’s wrath.
