The Official Thread Dedicated to "Trump Winning"

My Roth IRA that I've been putting into for 21 years has finally started to pay off. It's right when I need it too. I started it as a college savings effort to try to assist my two daughters as much as possible. 2017 has been the first decent year since 2013, which was a short lived growth period. I withdrew monies to assist my freshman in college. The net value for year was only reduced by 25% of what I withdrew. That was an amazing, and entirely new experience for me, to have an investment return profits. I must say, I really, really like the feeling.

It felt like .... winning!!!

Zinke won't eliminate any national monuments

BILLINGS, Mont. — Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke said he's recommending that none of 27 national monuments carved from wilderness and ocean and under review by the Trump administration be eliminated. But there would be changes to a "handful," he said.

Zinke told The Associated Press that unspecified boundary adjustments for some monuments carved out of wilderness and ocean over the past four decades will be included in the recommendations he planned to give President Donald Trump on Thursday. None of the sites would revert to new ownership, he said, while public access for uses such as hunting, fishing or grazing would be maintained or restored.

He also spoke of protecting tribal interests and historical land grants, pointing to monuments in New Mexico, where Hispanic ranchers have opposed two monuments proclaimed by Barack Obama.

Zinke declined to say whether portions of the monuments would be opened up to oil and gas drilling, mining, logging and other industries for which Trump has advocated.

But significant reductions in the size of the monuments, especially those created by Obama, would mark the latest in a string of actions where Trump has sought to erode his Democratic predecessor's legacy.

WOW — Packed house for Trump in #Phoenix tonight. Don't believe the fake polls... the base is energized and wants The Wall! #TrumpInAz FIRED UP! 20,000 PATRIOTS TURNED OUT TO SEE DONALD TRUMP IN ARIZONA!!

Yet another in a long list of examples why you need to take everything posted on this board by the loony right - Spike, Indy, Tim, Hamster et al - with a grain of salt. Nobody does fake news like the Alt Right. They are masters at it.

That meme reminds me of the Hillary campaign events.

Seems there's very little that doesn't remind you guys of Hillary or Obama. Anything to distract and deflect from having to discuss the elephant in the room, Donald Trump's failing presidency.

Seems there's very little that doesn't remind you guys of Hillary or Obama. Anything to distract and deflect from having to discuss the elephant in the room, Donald Trump's failing presidency.

Alas, you finally understand. After 8 years of you and your side blaming Bush and Republicans for every one of Obama's laundry list of faults, scandals, and issues, you get how hypersensitive we were to events then and how we can compare them to events now.

Most call that parity. It also exposes, once again, your selectivity. Enraged over so...many...things now....that when done under the Black Jesus, you defended or didn't give two ***** about.

Comical.

Trump Staffer Responsible For Finding Positive News Stories Resigns
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/trump-staffer-positive-news-stories-resigns_us_599fbb58e4b0821444c25fad?utm_campaign=hp_fb_pages&utm_source=main_fb&utm_medium=facebook&ncid=fcbklnkushpmg00000063

President Donald Trump’s administration parted ways with yet another staffer this week.

Politico
reported Thursday that Andy Hemming resigned from his position as the White House communications team’s director of rapid response on Monday.

The 31-year-old former Republican National Committee staffer, who was profiled by Politico’s Annie Karni this month, was responsible for finding positive mainstream media news stories about the Trump administration and recirculating those reports to key reporters and talking heads. Hemming’s goal was to ultimately create more mainstream coverage about positive moments for the Trump administration on the very networks the president routinely bashes and refers to as “fake news,” according to Karni’s piece.

Poor guy, that's a high pressure job if there ever was one. Hope he recovers asap and is able to rejoin civilized society.

Democrats really are too stupid to pull their heads from their *****. We see it here. Tibstardlodyte all up in arms about boys in girls clothes, Charlottesville, the Civil War, statues, perceived racism, defending BLM and AntiFA but meanwhile as they participate in these pointless smoke screens, Trump keeps on winning and Democrats keep avoiding building a platform with which to win.

This article is stunning true and to point.

MAGA

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Just last month, Democrats were talking about how they needed to rebrand their party around a positive message. They wanted to move beyond simple anti-Trumpism and identity politics, and craft an economic appeal to the white working-class voters who deserted them in 2016.
Now here we are with Democrats going all in to refight the Civil War. Well done.
A glance at the electoral map shows how foolish this is. Donald Trump triumphed in 2016 by increasing Republican margins in a swath of northern counties stretching from western Pennsylvania across the Great Lakes, netting him Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin and the presidency. Voters there are more likely to see this issue as a radical temper tantrum than anything affecting their daily lives.
Polling gives reason for skepticism. An NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll last week found that 62% of respondents thought statues honoring leaders of the Confederacy should “remain as a historical symbol.” Only 27% of those polled wanted the statues removed, and presumably they vote Democratic anyway. Perhaps party leaders see this issue as a way to motivate the minority base that failed to energize for Hillary Clinton, but even among African Americans, a 44% plurality said let the statues stay. So it’s just bad politics.
It gets worse. Once the issue was uncorked, it ballooned out of control. Last week, Trump wondered aloud where the iconoclastic movement would end, asking rhetorically, “Is it George Washington next week, and is it Thomas Jefferson the week after?” Right on cue, a Chicago pastor wants Washington’s name removed from a park, and Al Sharpton comes out against the Jefferson memorial.
This after protesters in New York City suggested last fall taking down a statue of Theodore Roosevelt. Last week, a bust of Abraham Lincoln — really? Lincoln? — was set ablaze. Demolish Mount Rushmore and radicals can smite all four of these presidents at once.
Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe showed how difficult the climate has become for Democrats. During his statement condemning the neo-Nazi protesters in Charlottesville, he innocently invoked “patriots … Thomas Jefferson and George Washington, who brought our country together." This brought a stinging rebuke from CNN Vice President Johnita P. Due, who wrote that “our national healing cannot move forward if even well-meaning leaders don't recognize the role our Founding Fathers played in seeding white supremacy.”
Maybe Democrats can put that gem in their national platform. Clearly, the Democratic tradition of the Jefferson-Jackson dinner is a thing of the past.
The liberal heroes of the hour are not dead white slave-owning presidents but the angry young street activists. For example, the radicals who pulled down the Confederate statue in Durham, N.C., who are affiliated with the socialist revolutionary Workers World Party. Also the thuggish "antifa" (anti-facist) movement, which helped organize demonstrations in Boston last weekend.
Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., deputy chair of the Democratic National Committee, praised the Boston demonstrators in general, saying “the Democratic Party, like those protesters, needs to step up into the patriotic moment. Ellison sees an advantage in making common cause with the activists and harnessing their energy.
Yet denouncing America’s Founders, defacing the Lincoln Memorial and taking a knee for the Star-Spangled Banner are not the kinds of behavior most Americans would consider patriotic. Democrats rush to embrace this movement at their political peril. All that soul searching about rebranding the party to bring back white working-class voters goes right out the window.
Meanwhile, Trump is free to talk about infrastructure programs, border control, tax cuts, the war on terrorism and other policy issues that voters care about. And if it looks like Democrats aren’t bursting with enough toxic anger, he can send radical left-wing mobs into the streets with a well-timed tweet.
And they say Trump is becoming irrelevant? Irrelevant like a fox.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Edit: I posted this in another thread, but it ties perfectly into this article.

While the idiots and minority of the Left run around tearing down statues, the Right and the majority of Americans (as the article stipulates) look at them with disdain. While we oppose this destruction of history, no one on this side looks at them with respect, or as "fighters". We look at them with disdain, while laughing at them. As evidenced by this meme. To the article's point, these actions only further alienate the Left and further embolden true American Patriots and swing voters.

Keep it up Libtards!

Hypocrite

Tim, Spike, there seems to be a job opening. You should send in your CV using the SN board as reference, they'll hire either of you in a heartbeat.

I've found the following quote to be nearly 100% true in the daily walk of life.

“The things we dislike most in others are the characteristics we like least in ourselves.”

Nearly every complaint you make about other posters on this board, you yourself are guilty of. While you and Troggie and the Tard share common beliefs, neither of them tries and spends hours upon hours every day searching the net for articles and memes to post, trying to post more than their opponent and basically out-post them. You accuse posters here of "searching" for good news (I really don't search) while you clearly search for negative articles to post.

Your self loathing spills over into these accusations and exposes further the hypocritical shoes you walk in.

Yesterday and so far today you've posted 27 times. You've got 84 forum posts since August 20. I've posted 31 times in exactly the same time frame. You post 271% more than I do. Probably more than 90% of people on SN. Yet you lump me into this bucket.

Exposing you is probably my favorite thing to do on this board.

Trump Oval Office vs Obama Oval Office

aaa352.jpg

After three weeks of renovations, the Trump Oval Office is complete and the last remnants of the Obama era have been removed. Gone are are the striped wall paper and suede couches, replaced by more neutral solid walls and off-white jacquard couches.

Perhaps most notable are the addition of U.S. military flags that now surround the presidential desk.

During the Obama years there were only two flags in the office of the Commander in Chief – none of them military.

POTUS Trump has brought in several more stars and stripes than his predecessor, as well as flags representing each branch of the military.

Mr. Trump also had the Obama rug removed and in its place is the same rug used by President Ronald Reagan.

The only thing the same is the Resolute Desk, first used by President John F. Kennedy and several presidents to follow.(Which Obama would sometimes put his feet on.)

Here is the Obama Oval Office: (Which many noted was perhaps the most “feminine” of Oval Offices

And here is the newly-updated Trump Oval Office that strikes a tone that is both more masculine and traditional than his presidential predecessor and compliments the current “America First” theme of the administration.

“There was an emphasis on bringing back the history to this building and the elegance,” deputy press secretary Lindsay Walters told reporters

“The Obama wallpaper was very damaged. There were a lot of stains on it.”

“The Obama wallpaper was very damaged. There were a lot of stains on it.”

Not as many stains as Slick left on the carpet.

C'mon, you knew that was coming. Someone had to do it.

I think it looks a lot nicer now.

Did Trump get rid of the tiger pelt rugs too?

Just as I thought. You and others cried for weeks when I took some time off after Orange Julius took office. Claiming that I ran from the board, hid under my bed, blah ******* blah. When I'm here that's the problem. When I'm not here then that's the problem. You and the snowflake Trump fanboys can't face the heat, since I call you out on your lies and embellishments and the non-stop fake news and propaganda dumped on here by Spike and others.

I take the time to check my sources, post links, cross reference the information I bring to the board. You don't like that. Why? Because the truth intimidates you.

It's sad how pathetic Trump supporters have become. Scared of your own shadows, never willing to face the music and defend your man with fact-based arguments. It's become a bonafide Snowflake Festival on this board with most of you so-called conservatives.

Just watch, if I don't post here for a week or two, how quickly you'll be calling me out for ducking out from some imaginary Trump victory. When I do chime in, you get your panties in a bunch.

Exposing you is probably my favorite thing to do on this board.
In your dreams Tim. All that's exposed is your frail psyche.

Seems like a bad place to put the desk. You know right behind a window. Just saying.

Say what you want, Trump has done very little. No major legislation passed, which is huge and cannot be ignored. That's how the country works, you need to pass legislation if you want to implement policy. Trump of course signed a gazillion flimsy, inconsequential executive orders, so what?

Back in April, Trump managed to get a conservative judge confirmed to the Supreme Court. That took what 72 hours beginning to end? Congratulations to Judge Gorsuch. It may shock you, but I don't mind conservative judges sitting on the highest court. The more balanced the better, the more reasoned the arguments by constitutional scholars the better.

So what else has Trump done?

Tried to ban the Muslims. Got into a pissing contest with Kim Jon Un. Insulted all our major allies on several occasions. Banned transgenders from the military. Promised to bring back Carrier the AC company that ended up firing a bunch of people and followed through with building plants abroad. And picked up a handsome check from Trump & the government to do so. He also nearly flamed a race war on Charlottesvile. Never though the country would spend two weeks talking about the KKK in Virginia. Or a President willing to tiptoe the line on Nazis. What a freak show.

We were told Obamacare was a total disaster - Trump repeated over and over again in front of adoring crowds. Yet it remains the law of the land, neither repealed nor replaced. The markets would fold, health care would go down the tubes. It's the end of August and none of that has happened.

Typical Washington gridlock you say, you blame Congress and the GOP. Well that too was something Trump had a solution for. He promised to drain the swamp and return Washington to the people. Don't remember if he put a 30-day guarantee on that, but most people understood what he was hinting at. He and Bannon would waltz in and scrub the halls of power with disinfectant. It will be so easy.

Trump and his supporters have leaned back and enjoyed the economic surge from the last few quarters of the Obama years. Trump criticized Obama's economic policy over and over during the campaign, yet is willing to take credit for it now that he's in office. Strange turn of events.

Trump promised quick, sudden changes. All I see is rolling back environmental regulations that helps no one - besides not having clean drinking water and killing grizzly bears.

Trump and his base - probably his base more than Trump - are infatuated with building a wall on the southern border. While flaunting the sharp decrease in illegal immigrants as an accomplishment, we're still set to build the wall, because, well cause we need a wall and Trump promised us he'll build a wall. It will be awesome and we'll all like it. And Mexico will pay for it. Or they won't. Doesn't matter, we need a wall.

On ISIS, Trump's done nothing but made misguided and superficial proclamations about fighting terrorism. He stood in front of huge crowds on live television and barked over and over that he had a secret plan to wipe out ISIS. That Obama was weak because he didn't dare mutter the words Islamic Terrorism. Trump would come in and not only say those words out loud, he'd slam the hammer down on ISIS.. Within 30 days he said, it will be easy. He's got a plan, he's smarter than the generals. You all remember that. That's what got him elected, throwing around bullshit and have people believe it. He has next to no understanding of how to fight terrorism or take out ISIS. Hopefully our military leaders do and can proceed without him, regardless of what a bozo Trump is.

More than anything, Trump loves to wail away at the media. It's pathetic listening to him go on about TV cameras being turned off, all the fake news accusations, flash the 'us against them' card he's been playing since the dawn of time. I'm waiting for the moment he drops to his knees and starts pounding the stage with his fists, sobbing how unfair the media is. That's all he's got left, he's exhausted everything else.

Hate to say it but I agree with anyone that's questioning Trump's sanity and whether he's fit for office. There are clearly ominous signs on both those fronts. Those are legitimate questions at this point. Which is pretty ****** when you're asking those questions about the sitting President of the United States.

President Trump Halts Pentagon Payments for Transgender Surgery

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump on Friday officially stopped funding for sex-reassignment treatment for transgender people currently in the military and barred the Pentagon from accepting any more transgender people into the services.

The president signed a memo giving new guidance to his previously-tweeted ban on transgender individuals serving in the U.S. military, according to a senior White House official who briefed reporters on condition of anonymity.

Trump signed the memo, the details of which were first reported by The Wall Street Journal, on Friday and directed the departments of Defense and Homeland Security to stop funding of sex-reassignment procedures and deny entry of transgender individuals into the military.

The Pentagon and Department of Defense have six months to develop an implementation plan.

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/wh...pentagon-payments-transgender-surgery-n796156

I think it's fiscally responsible to not pay for people serving in the military's elective surgery. It's a choice to get elective surgery, and that choice should fall on the individual to make, and to fund.

Though barring a group of people from serving in the military, because they are different, is cowardly and low. The problem has been solved by not funding elective surgery. If they still want to serve, let them serve.

If they're not deployable, why let them in?

Joe Arpaio Thanks President Trump for Pardon: Conviction Was a ‘Political Witch Hunt’

Joe Arpaio @RealSheriffJoe
Thank you @realdonaldtrump for seeing my conviction for what it is: a political witch hunt by holdovers in the Obama justice department!

Kamala Harris said he shouldn't have been pardoned because he was convicted of a crime. Well duh. Yet another affirmative action law school graduate.
