The Official Thread Dedicated to "Trump Winning"

I don't see how ANYONE with a conscience could vote against this bill. Oh wait....

Not only did they have a majority of Dems vote against it but there were Republicans too,

Miami Republicans vote against bill to expand penalties on sanctuary cities
Six Republicans voted against the sanctuary law and one voted against Kate’s law. Democrats applauded Michigan GOP Rep. Justin Amash for voting against both reform bills.

I can't get it my head how any sane person could not vote for this bill and I would be in complete favor of impeaching all those that did not. They take an oath when elected to office and nowhere in that oath does it include imperiling American citizens by condoning illegal behavior.

What is even sadder is that I don't see any way the Senate gets this bill past the Democrat filibuster. I hear from news sources that they consider it DOA.especially since it has failed in the past.

th

ANYONE who voted against this bill should be ousted. Don't care what party you are from. Voting against this is voting against America.

Winning!

Germany Surrenders to Trump, Waters Down G20 Climate Plan

Germany’s G20 presidency dramatically weakened a climate action plan, gutting it of ambitious language and defining gas, and potentially even some coal power, as “clean technologies”, in an attempt to appeal to US president Donald Trump.

The action plan was intended to be agreed at next week’s Hamburg G20 summit. Climate Home has seen two versions, drafted in March and May of this year. The latter shows the degree to which the German presidency has bent to the will of the Trump White House.

Several elements that have been removed in the May draft are:

A 2025 deadline for the end of fossil fuel subsidies

References to the risk of “stranded assets”

A call for “the alignment of public expenditure and infrastructure planning with the goals of the Paris Agreement”

A push for carbon pricing

A commitment to publish mid-century decarbonisation blueprints by next year

A pledge to develop a “profound” climate plan for multilateral development banks

Seven references to the UN’s 2018 review of nationally-determined contributions

11 references to the 2050 mid-century pathway for net zero emission

16 mentions of infrastructure decarbonisation

“The US massively weakened the language in the energy part of the action plan,” one source with knowledge of the negotiations said. “It pushed for references to so-called ‘clean’ fossil fuels and made it less explicit that the energy transition has to be built on energy efficiency and renewables.”

President Trump sending feds to Chicago to help with crime problem

President Donald Trump said Friday morning he’s sending in federal assistance to Chicago to help curb its crime problem.

“Crime and killings in Chicago have reached such epidemic proportions that I am sending in Federal help. 1714 shootings in Chicago this year!” Trump tweeted.

While it was unclear exactly what Trump was referring to, the Chicago Sun-Times reported that about 20 more U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agents have been sent to Chicago to combat gun violence.

Trump has often tweeted and spoken at rallies about violence in Chicago and he’s often threatened to send in federal authorities.

“The Trump Administration will not let the bloodshed go on; we cannot accept these levels of violence," the statement from Sessions read. "I want to commend the President for his commitment to enforcing our laws and keeping our communities safe... With these new resources, she will help us make Chicago safe again."

That eagle picture would have been a great backdrop for all of Obama's apologies for America tours.

But it's not. It's the backdrop for how completely unhinged Trump has become. It is the backdrop for this sad and embarrasing point in American history.

I still don't understand how it's "sexist". What part about his comment applies only to women? Men don't get facelifts in hollywood?

Liberal States Get Jittery as President Trump Looks to Clamp Down on Voter Fraud

As the Trump administration looks to clamp down on widespread reports of voter fraud and abuse, some mainly liberal states are pushing back — fearing that Trump is launching a “voter suppression” commission.

President Trump’s Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity has asked the states to hand over data from their voter rolls. According to Axios, that includes voter information regarding felony convictions, military status, and voter history. They have set a deadline for the middle of July.

President Trump has frequently highlighted alleged cases of voter fraud and has even claimed that he would have won the popular vote in the 2016 election if the number of illegally cast votes was discounted. In May he signed an executive order setting up the commission to investigate those reports.

Apparently suppressing dead people's right to vote is frowned upon in some areas. They are gonna be pissed when they find out!

Obama warns Americans about too much patriotism — on July 4th weekend!

While most Americans are gathering with family and community this weekend to celebrate the most exceptional country in the history of the world, Mr. Hope and Change is halfway around the world talking doom and gloom — and criticizing his successor.

Barack Obama visited Indonesia this weekend, and in a series of appearances, attacked love of country and the policies of Donald Trump.

The former US president said some countries had adopted “an aggressive kind of nationalism” and “increased resentment of minority groups”, in a speech in Indonesia on Saturday that could be seen as a commentary on the US as well as Indonesia.

“It’s been clear for a while that the world is at a crossroads. At an inflection point,” Obama said, telling a Jakarta crowd stories of how much the capital had improved since he lived there as a child.

But he said that increased prosperity had been accompanied by new global problems, adding that as the world confronts issues ranging from inequality to terrorism, some countries – both developed and less developed – had adopted a more aggressive and isolationist stance.

“If we don’t stand up for tolerance and moderation and respect for others, if we begin to doubt ourselves and all that we have accomplished, then much of the progress that we have made will not continue,” he said.

“What we will see is more and more people arguing against democracy, we will see more and more people who are looking to restrict freedom of the press, and we’ll see more intolerance, more tribal divisions, more ethnic divisions, and religious divisions and more violence,” Obama asserted.

While former presidents rarely criticize their successors at home, Obama took the unusual step of going to a foreign country to do it.

Speakin' of Trump winning. Have yinz seen the tweet that has the media in a frenzy....LMFAO

All the lefty media are saying that that is a call to violence, a deplorable act of threatening violence and any other slobbering accusation that they can spew. In other words, they didn't think of it so it's shameful. If they do stuff like that it's fine and dandy, justified and condoned.

I think Bomma is staying out of the country to avoid extradition if anything big goes down.

Make no BONES about it, there's a GROUNDSWELL of votes coming out of the CEMETERY.

DEMOCRATS are always capable of DIGGING up a few extra votes, with the hopes of CREMATING their competition.

Of course, as usual, the REPUBLICANS stop them DEAD in their tracks.
